When Dwight uses the collective pronoun "We" is he referring to just him and his teammates or him, his teammates and the officials?

Just askin'.

He is referring to himself and his two elbows.

I can't believe I even see posts about people hoping we sign this guy.  He is a total loser-

1) Stop smiling at people during the game- is that his only move- trying to get in peoples heads by smiling at them?  PATHETIC - Play the [dang] game- I would rather see him be mean and talk trash & whipe that stupid smirk off his face. He acts like the game is a joke.

2) Did anyone hear him going (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
at the free throw line when KG was shooting towards the end of the game? That's middle school BS.  Acting like a 11 year old.

3)  I mean really? in general. Really Dwight?  When he refers to winning the war - its as if he thinks the war is his personal conversations & trash talk between him and independent players on the other team

He does not even realize that other players are doing that and banking on him getting more involved in that than the game.  He is the easiest player in the NBA to take out of a game mentally.

Simply put he is a total loser on the court.  Maybe off the court he is a nice guy- I don't know.  But on the court he is  ZERO.

Playing Devil's advocate, what exactly is he supposed to say:

"We suck and the Celtics are great and will win the championship so we may as well just go home now."

Come on....this is a non story

He's one heck of a presence on defense and the glass. The thought of him and Rondo is salivating. You'd think they'd average 4+ alley-oops a game.

But, we would still need the leadership (and talent) of the Big Three. KG could turn him into a warrior IMO.

BUT... I would not sacrifice much for a shot at him. If the opportunity presents itself, go for it. I wouldn't not sign guys next year for a crack at him or have a fire-sale next season to make cap space.

I never even got the feeling he liked us, let alone would want to play hear, yet some on CB believe it will happen lol.

Yes, that's exactly what he should say verbatim, he should tell the truth when the mics/cameras are in his face.

I really don't like Dwight you supposed to say that with some confidence or some anger he is sitting there smiling like that made me giggle and I know that makes the Celtics giggle as well cause we have the man the single handley makes him look like an idiot on offense.

They dont try to beat an opponent, they try just to out score them ... that may work against the knicks who dont play defense , but not against us.

The Magic are sixth in defensive efficiency.

I give Howard credit for working on his free throw shooting
thats about it for me
I don't care what he says, his basketball knowledge doesn't appear to be on the upper level.  The magic just lost to us, without jermaine oneil, without "supermans" kryponite Kendrick Perkins and without our best guard off the bench delonte west.  If their 3 pt shooting is hot they could win some games in a series, if not they would be swept/maybe win a game.  Doc is a better coach, if they didn't have turk it would be ugly.  They were very smart to get him back, he's heady & a matchup problem.
Howard needs to grow up, play harder and not as cheap.  Why the nba gives a punk like him calls I'll never know.  Then again they game rodman all sorts of exposure.  I'll pass on him as a celtic.  Would much much rather get brook lopez.
and finally howard is not a defensive player of year, the old guy who just won the game for us IS!

Yea, seriously, the Magic are NOT a lot of things, but they certainly are a team that can play defense.

The magic lost almost ALL of their mojo when Rashard declined. He was the difference maker that pushed them over the top, but it's hard to say if it was because of his PED's at the time, because after 09 he was basically garbage.

That doesnt matter to me, we shot over 50% that game, and seems to me like they were chucking desperation 3's when they were losing. In my eyes, Magic = Chuck 3's > Defense.

lets see:

-Orlando made 11 3's
-had a ton more FT attempts
-boston didn't have perk, Jo or West

and boston still won. that is enough for me.

Lol, I don't know how what you do on offense dictates how you are on defense. The C's are 9th in offensive efficiency and #1 in True shooting percentage. Not an easy team to defend. :)

I do agree that how well the Magic can defend won't matter against C's since they're just that good offensively.  :D

Orlando is a terrific team and they definitely could beat the C's in a 7 game series.  Right now, they would not be favorites (if both teams are healthy) based on past experience and the C's depth, but they are dang good offensively, defensively, on the boards - name it.  A top 5 team.

My hope is Miami and Orlando fight each other for the right to visit Boston in Game 1 of the ECF.

Another hope is that Dwight Howard becomes a member of the Boston Celtics after the 2012 season.

Anybody always catch Doc hugging and giving Dwight the one on one talk after every game against the Magic? Little bit of pre recruiting for 2012 maybe?
