Most commonly asked question way back then:
>> Why did we trade for Telfair? We could have had Roy!

Answer: He's got borrowed knees, borrowed from Leon Powe.

I think this signals the end of his career, at least as an elite player. Worst Case: Darius Miles. Best Case: Grant Hill
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I think worst case is more like, i don't know, Antonio McDyess or Kenyon Martin something. Here's why: Darius was so bad they got to declare him medically incapable an get cap relief. McDyess was just instantly a bench player. So if Roy follow the McDyess trajectory, he'd be a max-deal bench player, never the same and never fully healthy. Best case would have to be Kidd/Stoudemire/Zach Randolph.

He'll never get back the lift Stoudemire has. Randolph is a beefy post player, I don't really get the comparison? Kidd I suppose but did he ever have multiple serious knee injuries? Not to my knowledge.
