Isn't there a rule where a defender can't effect the backboard or rim or something like that?  Perhaps that's what he was upset about.

I am not a Dwayne Wade fan.  I'm just saying he threw a tantrum and got a technical foul so I don't quite get the title of the thread.

But, yeah, he and his queen are both big, whiny, spoiled brats.  That I agree with.

The NBA is trying to kill it's fan base..watching football today..what impact or control do the refs have.....none..! They just call it as it is, even review it so it is purely factual. NBA refs, purely interpretation...no facts at all, no consistancy, FAVORITISM, control....Championship Wrestling...it is getting to be the same.... The only thing kobe and the lakers DID'T do to the Celtics last year was hit them with a chair, or rub salt in their eyes......did you see any review of that....they threw out the actual video of kobe stepping under perks leg....no fine or anything for artest hitting rondo in the face = 10 stitches, then ray allen in the thigh.......all with a seal of approval from the league......how's that.

Tell that to Seahawks fans about the Super Bowl they lost.  Or to Chargers fans after Hochuli blew a call that cost them the game.  Heck, tell it to the Eagles fans currently griping all over my Facebook after that hit on Celek 30 minutes ago.  NFL refs make mistakes and judgment calls all the time, even with breaks between every play, which is a huge advantage to accuracy.

I'm not entirely sure but I think the defender is only not allowed to touch the rim itself but the backboard is okay.

I couldnt imagine wade and his quitness' reaction when they meet the celtics in the playoffs. Would they throw a tantrum when calls dont go their way?
