Pats vs. Jets, Part III next week in Foxboro

With the Colts and Saints out of the playoffs -- two of the only teams I thought could possibly beat New England -- the Pats' path to a title is even more clear.

Clutch reception by Edwards and clutch kick by Folk. Great game.

I agree.  Colts were the #1 fear in the AFC.  Doesn't mean Jets won't present problems next week, but I like the idea of not having to face Peyton.

I think Baltimore has a decent chance of putting up a good fight against the Pats, as well. I don't see any team beating them in the AFC, though.

agreed.  I don't see any reason to think the Pats can't make the Super Bowl with Indy out.  they still need to play the game because anything can happen (as it did in both games today) but I'd be stunned if someone knocked off the Pats

One of my two AFC fears were taken care of tonight.  Now let's go Chiefs!

Happy to see the Jets next weekend.  The Jets are at their best when they can run the ball.  Don't think their defense is good enough to keep the Pats from putting up points, so Sanchez is going to have to put the ball in the air.  And I am very comfortable with that in January in Foxboro.

What an amazing run by Lynch.  There were about 6 guys who had their arms on him, but couldn't bring him down.

Really looking forward to this Ravens-Chiefs game.  When the Ravens are clicking, they're awfully tough to beat and they're the team out there than concerns me most as a Pats fan.  It'd be great to see the Chiefs pull off the victory but I just don't know if they're quite ready for this playoff stage.  If they can run the ball, they got a legitimate shot, though.

So I gotta ask the Bears fans here (Roy/Fafs/etc...)  Do you find yourself doing the unfathomable today and root for the Packers?  I know quite a few of my friends out here are doing that.

Chiefs have come to play early on.  Lots of energy on both sides of the ball right now.  Its good to see Arrowhead hosting a playoff game again. One of the better stadiums in the NFL.  Great fanbase.

What a terrible throw by Cassel.  Chiefs need the Ravens to a FG here if they want to have a realistic shot at coming back in this game.
