Don't have video tonight so need to  ask: is Davis getting decent looks or is he forcing his hand? Cause he's shooting the team out of the game.

A little of everything. He's forced some, missed open looks, gotten blocked at the rim, airballed a couple.

Made his last one. He's 4-15. He does not need to take 15 shots.

Roger that last.

Thibs knows how to beat the celtics, force Rondo and Davis to take all the shots

I'd like to write this one off to one of the most dreadful overall performances of the season - no defense, Davis has been absolutely horrific. Too many wild shots out of Rondo, also.

I don't want to face this team in the playoffs.  Thibs has done wonders with their defense, and Noah will make them even better.

I'm not scared of any team, but a strong defensive squad with offensive players like Rose and Boozer is formidable.  The only thing they're missing is a legitimate deep threat (outside of Korver).

Bulls matchup up very well with the C's. This is potential 2nd round series and I wouldn't look forward too.
I think it'd be a tough series but this would be a very different game if the C's were hitting the shots they were open for and if they had a starting frontcourt that could actually rebound.  Shaq looks dead out there tonight

Glen Davis and Rajon Rondo have taken Pierce and Allen out of the game.

I can't even remember the last time either had a FGA.

Davis taking 15 shots while Ray has only taken 13?

That's a lost game. Davis needs to learn his role. He doesn't automatically get Kevin's share of the offense.

Never had understood the C's late game scoring droughts. Some credit to Thibs/D, but everyone at this level should be able to shoot, yes?  Out of gas?

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Just looked at the box. Baby has taken more shots than Ray, more than Rondo, and only 1 less than Pierce.

We definitely need him to hit 15 foot jumpers, but we also need him to move the ball and not shoot us out of games.

Kevin doesn't even get that kind of a share of the offense!

Another loss Another Game Big Baby Shoots Celtics out of the game.

Rondo run plays for Pierce & Ray. Its not enough that Rose is abusing Rondo, but his consistent passing to Baby is defies any logic.

Agreed on both counts. I think Rondo lets the Rose rivalry take him out of his game a little.

Ray had taken 13 shots for 17 pts early in the third and this remains the same.

So weird to see Scal on the opponents' bench.
