  • Rondo = Good
I know, if only we could somehow get a career 37% shooter from 3-pt land to come here and backup Ray...maybe someone like Delonte West...

Or we could always trade the ever-appealing package of Wafer, Harangody, and Bradley for Melo...

It doesn't really matter how many 3 pt role players we add; as long as our offense centers primarily around Ray, Paul, and KG with a bit of Rondo and BBD / Shaq thrown in, we're not going to be anywhere near the top of the league in 3's attempted.

Of those players, only Ray takes a high volume of 3's, and recently he's been taking far more mid-range jumpers.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

The championship team that we are most like in the past 10 years are the 2004 Pistons.

Stifling defense anchored by two bigs (Ben Wallace and Sheed)a balanced offense with players with an excellent mid-range game (Rip Hamilton and Chauncey) and the occasional 3 ball from Rasheed, Chauncey and Prince and well coached (Larry Brown). Defense and team play were their calling card.

They dominated and were not overly reliant on the three-ball. Three-ball is highly overrated.
