1. Obviously health, but that goes without saying.

2. Erden is placed on injured reserve. This subsequently allows to Celtics to use the roster space to acquire Sheed.

3. We begin to give KG, PP, and Allen the occasional night off. Especially on back to backs.

4. In the playoffs, we use 5 guys to man the 1, 2, & 3 spots (Nate being the odd man out). Rondo, Pierce, Allen, Daniels, and West are the only ones I want to see at those positions as part of our playoff rotation.

5. Bradley and Harangody are sent to the NBDL.

Any others?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Firstly, Sheed to sign with the Lakers so I never see a bring Sheed back idea.

Rondo to start using and making his 18ft with more often.

Rondo to shoot freethrows better.

Delonte to get healthy

Perk to get Healthy

The team to then stay Healthy.

Finish with League or east best record.

A first Round Sweep of whoever meets us.

Rondo to average a triple double against the Bulls while making Rose look like Garbage.

Embarrass the Heat in a game 6 ala the Cavs last season (CRUSHT THEIR SPIRITS!!!)

KG to Embarrass Gasol in finals, Rondo to win finals MVP, Banner 18.

Celtics win every Championship here after

Not too much to ask for I don't think.  ::)

There is no injured reserve. You can't sign Sheed without cutting somebody.

Things I'd like to see going forward:
2-->Posters that know the rules for the number of players a team can have under contract and that the C's already have 15 players under contract.

3&5-->People that understand sitting the starters and/or sending the rookies to the NBDL requires the rest of the team to be healthy so that there's enough depth to afford that luxury

1. Health
2. Refs actually call games the way they are supposed to!!!!!
3. Doc finding a nice rotation when everyone is happy, whole team playing as one
4. Nate traded for missing puzzle piece (sf/pf who can play good defense) once delonte is back, any other pg minutes go to marquis
5.  all major players get minutes breaks during regular season, let bench guys work with starters and develop more confidence
6. all our centers once healthy become best friends, perk, jermaine, shaq and semih, none caring about amount of pt or who starts/who finishes
7. bradley sent to d league, this would be first but isn't as important, kid needs his confidence and pt back
8.  espn actually comes to their senses and does sports news not who is popular

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

snarky arrogance

It's okay. I just didn't realize we had Larry Coon here as a special contributor.

That said, I believe the rules are in place for a team to apply for a roster exemption should a player sustain a season ending injury. Since
Erden will need survey, why not do it now?

As for days off, obviously I meant if we are entirely healthy.

snarky arrogance

Snarky arrogance?   more like irritation over yet another thread proposing a move the C's can't make based on the league rules.
to be fair to the OP, I was reading and responding to a different thread by someone complaining about FA signings that was just mind boggling and my session timed out while responding to that one and I lost the post that I spent a bit of time compiling.  I undoubtedly took out some of that frustration here which certainly wasn't fair.

However, I would have had an entirely different attitude if the OP had questioned if it was possible rather than just say do it as though they knew the league rules.  That's what brought on the snarkiness, deserved or not.

Things I'd like to see...

I'd like to see Semih play the first 6 minutes of the 2nd quarter on most nights.  He's rough, but the kid looks like a gamer...

I'd like to see us beat the Lakers at the garden while seated from complementary seats between Wyc and Danny...

I'd like to see the C's find the next piece in the post-KG title teams and have that player join us ASAP so that this team's current culture has a better chance to continue...

I'd like to see that blond early 20-something, significantly intoxicated chick that sat next to me in the upper level in the Garden at the Philly game learn to eat a little something before drinking so much...

I'd like to see this team commit to rebounding...seriously...

I'd like to see him play more, as well, but I think his minutes should come next to a good rebounder at power forward, not Glen Davis.
