Donaghy is not alone, I don't care what anyone says! >:(  These refs are definitely gambling on games or someone just doesn't want the Celtics to win.

At least if they don't want us to win they aren't doing a very good job

you know I really thought the same thing.  I thought it was oddly suspicious how when the game got to around a 10 point game at the end all of a sudden the whistles get swallowed on one end.

So true! lol

But the Celtics have to beat their opponent and the refs.  They might not be so lucky should they make the Finals -- like last year. >:(

Any Celtics fans complaining about the non-call on Ginobili's final shot?

That was a clean block. The refs did miss a travel by Marquis though late.

While I agree, it was still a crucial non-call

That's the problem.  They should call the games right all the time.  I understand that mistakes will be made, but that was blatant last night.  They probably didn't call the Marquis travel because they gave so much to the Spurs already.  But the games shouldn't be called like that.

I thought there were just some stupid calls in general but I think the Refs vs Celtics thing was overblown.  Like at the end of the game you could tell Manu was trying to foul Pierce but I thought Parker's strip wasn't really much of a foul, if at all.  And I didn't think Manu's dive for the ball past Rondo was either.  Our guys were being too weak and should have been aggressive going to get the ball.

And Pierce cleanly blocked Manu, that wasn't a foul and a good non-call.

ESPN need to run an E360 story on NBA refs.  But they don't have the stones because they are scared of Stern.

They have no problem calling out MLB umps...even NFL refs at times but it is so so rare to see them criticize an NBA ref after the fact.

You are 100 correct.

If they had called that last block a foul, the ref criticism would never end...

From what little I saw of the game, and from what I've seen this year, I don't believe that the refs are out to get Boston.

The difference from this year to last is that Boston is now playing through the missed or bad calls. We are finding ways to win in spite of, and I love it!

Can we pay our fines with our knuckles cause I would definitely accept if I could punch Stern.

I think we get the shaft a lot.  Watch how they call it for Lebron and say PP, huge difference.  One you breathe on him and its a foul the other you can ride him like a horse.

NBA refs are the worst of any sport.

I totally agree.  I still believe that some refs are betting on games.  I saw someone post the spread to last night's game. The refs knew what they were doing. Can't be a coincidence.
