This might be lame, but I just want to say how much I appreciate the effort of this team to accomplish what it has despite the incredible number of injuries. Second best record in the NBA. Wow

I don't think the positive threads are ever lame.  We're watching the best team in the NBA right now, and it's cool to publicly acknowledge that.

The entire team was great tonight.  I appreciate the chemistry of this team; we have a deep rotation and a lot of guys are losing minutes, but they're all keeping a positive outlook and are cheering on their teammates.

Definitely not lame, the effort put forth by the team tonight was exceptional. I would not even hesitate to say that this is a game we would have lost if it was played last season...it's been very special to watch this team this year.

Go Celts!

It took an impeccable shooting night from everyone, a return to Rondo at his finest, and some clever coaching by Doc to beat a darn good team tonight.
Yup

Not lame at all (TP)

I personally feel like these guys really are playing for us every night when they are out there. Yea its easy to call them greedy or w/e because they make so much money and hold out for bigger contracts. But in reality, aside from representing our city and what we're all about, these guys ALL donate thousands, if not millions to charity every year. They are CONSTANTLY donating thier time to charitable organizations. Aside from a few bad apples most of these guys are pretty much saints compared to most of us. I dont doubt that there are plenty of people on here who donate time and money to various organizations, but these guys all do it on an epic level.

Since the addition of the big three i've never seen this time quit, or play at less than 110% when it really mattered. They get terrible calls against them all the time. I know how hard it is for all of you to handle the way the refs handed the lakers game 7...but stop for a second and think how the celtics players and organization must feel about it. For that to happen to them and for them to then come out the way they have this season, firing on all cylinders with all the injuries they have sustained. These guys are warrior saints lol and I appreciate the hell out of them representing me and my home in the nba!
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

JO showed why boxscores don't tell you how a player contributed. JO played great defense tonight.

JO looks like a better version of what PJ Brown was for us in 2008. Hopefully he can pick it up on offense. In truth though, he has never had a good shooting % except for last season.

The game would have been over midway through the 3rd if this was last year this time.

This team is fun to watch. Sorry for some if they aren't blowing teams out or number one on Hollinger's gospel, but they are doing what is needed to win.

They are starting to remind me of the 2008 squad, in that they want every game - BAD.

I agree.  I loved the 08 team and I might like this team more, especially considering they are grinding things out with injuries.  KG might be our MVP and we just won that game last night without him.

Great, great stuff and it was beautiful to see all our guys stepping up when they needed to, whether it be Jermaine giving defensive effort as the only real post out there at times, Big Baby taking a charge and hitting jumpers when they were daring him to, Ray working the screens and Pierce willing to be the decoy, and Rajon just all over on offense and defense and even knocking down his jumpers in the 4th.  I really love this team.  So much fun to watch guys who play with so much heart and will do whatever they need to do to win.
