Semih is in the hurthouse. I would love to see him take Harangody's minutes though. I have no idea why he was playing in the 4th quarter last night. I know Davis had 5 fouls, but I woulda kept JO in or gone small instead.

That sounds like a good name for the lane when the Celtics are on defense.

He should definitely be getting minutes over Harangody. I don't think him and JO will do any worse than JO and 'Gody.

He must be injured. I know his shoulder has been barking since the preseason, but I thought I heard something else was bothering him too.

Between Luke and BBD, I've never seen so many bricks put up with no hesitation, and seemingly no regret.

Can't wait for KG to come back lol

BBD shot 50% last night, did you watch the game?  And KG being back might help in getting Luke and his 4 shots on the bench but, no BBD will continue to shoot at least I hope he does for C's sake.

I can't wait until we get KG back so he pass up an wide open 15 footer to force a TO.

15 shots for 17 points is not good production.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Groin pull is probably the big thing--it really inhibits your lateral movement, so that would make it tough to spread your feet on defense and stay in front of your man--especially in the post. If I'm not mistaken, they can take quite a while to heal and are easy to aggravate like hamstrings.

cant believe this thread.. S had been looking pretty good.. he has multiple injuries right now.. Im not about to put any faith in JO.. what has he shown anyone the past 2 years.. terrible, at least S has some upside and is only going to get better.

Has Erden been better than JO last year? I don't buy it.

JO's problem last year was that he was making too much money. He was a bum for $24m. But what were his actual numbers?

13.6 ppg, 7 rpg, 1.4 bpg, in 28.4 mpg. He shot .529.

I don't think Erden can match that, especially against starting centers as O'Neal did.

JO's decline is exaggerated because of his ridiculous contract and his many injuries. If he had been making 8m a year all along, people would have thought he was a good contributor last season.

Yes it is if we are talking about 15 possessions. The league average points per possession is just over 1.

That production is fine, especially if we expect the best players to be even better.

I think the previous poster's comment about KG is a bit much though.
