What happen with Semih what's with the DNPs? I thought he filled in well prior to not really playing at all now

Shaq and JO are using up all the minutes at center.

'Filled in' is the key phrase.

It will be even worse for Semih when Perk returns as we try to play him back into shape.

He should definitely be getting minutes over Harangody. I don't think him and JO will do any worse than JO and 'Gody.

He must be injured. I know his shoulder has been barking since the preseason, but I thought I heard something else was bothering him too.

Between Luke and BBD, I've never seen so many bricks put up with no hesitation, and seemingly no regret.

Can't wait for KG to come back lol

Try to rotate Shaq, KG, JO, Perk and BBD in the same game
that will be more than a challenge to Doc

Semih is just being killed by JO needing the time to get into shape, and after that there will be no need for him.
and after comebacks it will be even less

That only works if either Erden or JO can play PF.  JO has in the past, but may no longer have the quickness to do so.  Erden may have the quickness, but lacks the experience.

He was reported to have an injured thumb, which made it harder to both catch and shoot the ball.

It will only get worse for Semih.

On the bright side, JO may be at his worst at the moment and he is still contributing on defense. I expect his rhythm to get better in the coming weeks and he will be a top end of the rotation guy.

Our bench is really deep. Even with last year's starting PF and starting C out injured, there are no more minutes for a 7ft center who contributed quite a bit early on in the season. Good work Danny!

Injured thumb, shoulder, and groin, if I remember correctly. They say the shoulder will eventually need surgery and he plays with a wrap on his thumb.

I don't see why not. He is the best defensive big the C's have right now without KG and Perk. He can hit an open jumper, and doesn't look to take 20-footers like BBD and Luke do.

As the days go by JO is looking more and more comfortable. He is much smarter than both Luke and BBD (probably combined).

If all of our bigs are healthy, I think he will be backing up KG in the playoffs (something like 20mpg for Shaq and Perk, and 12 at PF and 8 at C).

Yeah, when Perk returns, JO needs to be ready to also play some PF. He also needs to have his jumper working. We would be able to shrug off foul trouble with a KG/BBD/Shaq/Perk/JO mix at the 4 and 5 so long as only 2 guys can only play a single position (Perk and Shaq).

Semih shouldn't have been in at all this year, he should have been buried on the depth chart all season. But he was forced onto the court early and did pretty well... i take that as a positive. To say he should be getting minutes at center over J.O. and Shaq? I don't think so.

Plus i think he's recovering from quite a few injuries including a finger and a shoulder.

I would like to see Semih getting time in the NBDL along with Avery.

Semih is just a filler until Perk gets back.  He needs surgery on his shoulder and they're just going to delay it until Perk returns.  This was pretty much known since the start of the season.  I wouldn't necessarily say he's in the doghouse, he's just not good enough to have get minutes over the O'Neal's or Perk.
