Does Tommy H go too far with his bias?

Please don't tear me apart!
the guy is a legend and it's great that he's still appreciated by the organisation and fans...
But man is his bias and one eyed-ness even worse than normal lately?
It's getting to the point where i wish he would just be quiet for half the game!
Sorry to throw hate on a C's legend but I'm just putting it out there to find out other peoples opinions.
What do you guys think?

No, in fact he doesn't go far enough.  You can tell in his voice sometimes that the 'word police' have cracked down on some things he's said, which is why you'll just hear a sigh or 'oh boy' from him.  Go Tommy!

No way man. Tommy tells it like it is. I often find myself agreeing with him when he calls out the refs for their questionable calls that always seem to favor the other team. In fact, I hardly find him to be biased at all.

Maybe it's because I'm such a homer myself that everything Tommy says seems legit... hmmm  :-\

I agree with the origional post.  Gotta love Tommy, but he gets very annoying at times.

I have always enjoyed my Celtics games broadcast with a green tint to them.  I would not have it any other way. If you grew up listening to Johnny Most, then you NEED this from Tommy and he does his best to carry the torch of Johnny Most. And I wouldn't want him to be any other way than the way he is.  Pure Celtic green.

I think Tommy has lost a step, perhaps.  He seems to force his comments a bit more now, rather than letting things flow naturally.  However, I still love his commentary.  The games that Donnie does are terrible -- dull -- in comparison.

I love Tommy, but yes he does go too far.

Now, I like that he wants the Celtics to win. I like that he roots for the players in green. But what I could use less of is the extremely one-sided view of officiating. It's embarrassingly one sided, and, unfortunately, I think a lot of people actually believe he's right on the refs. Bad news all around.

I love the pro-Celtic commentating. Most other teams have the same kind of commentating when their home games are broadcast, so i really don't think what Tommy does is out of the ordinary.

his bias cant go far enough imo.  if you want someone who isnt a homer, watch a national feed, or get league pass to catch games with the opponents announcers.

Absolutely not. I can't get enough of the guy. Tommy is one of my favorite sports personalities. Most announcers are boring. Anyone with eyes could do it. Guys run up and down the court and the announcers say yeah their running up and down the court. We have TV and they announce more than radio announcers. Gorman puts me to sleep. He and Cous are like a warm cup of milk at bedtime. Most Sports games televised I mute. Except for the exceptional play that needs clarification. I think the Knick announcers are the best in the business.

I guess I'm spoilled by the days of Johnny Most. I could close my eyes now and *see* a radio game announced by the great man.

I used to feel that way about Donnie but he seems to have improved quite a bit from last year to this year.  I enjoy Donnie now.

You must not be watching the right channel if you dont think Tommy is biased at all. Tommy's great but he can certainly get annoying when he argues a dumb call or pushes the envelope too far.

And Donny Marshall is just terrible. Maybe its his lack of homerism that plays a part in me not be able to stand him, but he is just straight up bad.
