Reminds me of the line from "Christmas Vacation" when Clark (Chevy Chase) asks his Dad how he made it through the holidays all those years, and his father replies: "I had a lot of help from Jack Daniels!" ;)

Bountiful blessings to all for a great 2011! It's kind of cool to be writing "1/1/11" ... be a while before that happens again! ;)

One of the worst of my life, actually, but 2010 is now gone, and now we can look ahead to a bright, prosperous, and improved New Year ... right? (I will if you will, Bud! TP to start it off right) ;)

Interesting fact: the game (Celtics - Hornets) was between years 2010 and 2011 because Latvia (where I live) has a seven hour difference from USA ET.

Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

I wish you all a lot of good things but first and foremost to be healthy, because it's the most important thing. :)

2010's phrase of the year was "I'm just saying"

I'd say 2009 or so was "It is what it is"

My candidates for this year

"Let's not panic"

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Does a Geico commercial suck

Don't pull a insert first celeb or politician major embarrassment of the year.

Don't go Lebron on me

Let's just relax

Ahh I love that saying, Thirsty Boots. My mother says that every year and with a sweet smile on her face, which is unusual.
1-1-11
Well, there is definately something special there in those numbers. Big Baby's birthday (1-1) and his number 11.
I hope his game comes back tomorrow night.

May we all find things this year that we can hold onto; things that don't just keep swaying in and out of focus.
