What if we are actually Healthy for the Playoffs - Imagine that!

For all those who are agonizing over the recent injuries to Rondo, KG and JO remember what Delonte and Perk have been dealing with as they rehab - and consider this. What if the Celtics are full strength for the playoffs? With what Nate, Marquis and Semih have shown and what we already know BBD and Delonte can do, imagine what we kind of run we could make. Yes Doc will have his hands full fitting everyone in and getting everyone up to speed; but can't wait to see the reaction when Perk hits the floor - even if he is not 100%.

Agree we're scary when healthy. When healthy I have no doubts..no even an inkling of a doubt that when healthy this team is the best team in teh NBA.

but the odds of the C's being healthy at any time of the season, and I mean 90% or better for guys 1-15, is not only unlikely, it is darn near impossible.

Injuries are the dice game you gotta play. We're gonna roll and hope we don't get snake eyes.

Just want to try and keep the doom and gloomers at bay for a bit. Yeah KG is out for two weeks; but.....

If we can get through the Hornets without anymore bad news feel like 2011 will be a great year to be a Celtics Fan!

This team wins the title if healthy, it's that simple. If we can just get there with out top 7 players right now healthy I still feel that way and that is not counting Perk as fully healthy. He can still be effective if a step slow since his game doesnt count so much on his quickness or jumping ability. I personally think Orlando has improved a lot with their recent trade and Miami will be heck in the playoffs. That being said, we still have a guy named Rondo who can carry this team all the way to the Finals. Once there KG, Shaq, Paul and Ray will seal the deal.

I have been imagining that ... I expect them to be healthy by the time the playoffs come around, and expected it before the season started. I think last year showed us that Doc and Danny are pretty astute when it comes to getting this team in the best spot it needs to be in for the post-season, and I have no doubt they'll do the same this year, whatever that entails.

this is a very scary thought for other teams. i guarantee miami/orlando/LA fans are shaking at the thought. on paper we probably have the best front line in the nba (when healthy). it's crazy that perk, kg, JO, shaq, and semih are all not 100% right now. can't wait for them to heal up (along with rondo and delonte).

Agree, I can envision them kicking into that other gear later toward the end of the season, and another into the playoffs. KG more intense (is that possible?), Shaq and JO more slimmed down, Perk and Delonte giving solid minutes. Gino. Rondo the head of the monster fully orchestrating everything. Can't wait.

That's why maybe all these injuries are a blessing in disguise....get it out of our system....so everyone is healthy and rested after the All-Star break

It'll be scary if it all works out.  However, as others have noted, it'll be tough. 

But if we are, watch out.  The Heat could get dramatically better and the Magic could sustain where they are now and the C's could still potentially be MUCH better than both of these teams.

Hoping we get there. Going to see them live in Minneapolis in late March which should be a blast.
