  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'm really surprised he's getting more votes than Rose.

After all of our injuries, why would you want Rondo to play in a meaningless game....another meaningless game...this allstar dookie is for guys on teams that have "no chance" of winning it all in the playoffs.  How about our guys resting the body...for THE PLAYOFFS....a nice week off to gear up for the only thing that matters...uhm, a CHAMPIONSHIP....who remembers lat years allstar game..vs last years champions..?
(and our injuries this year and last year!).

Amazing that he's beating Rose! Aren't these the same voters that put Allen Iverson and Vince Carter in every year?

Hope Rondo makes it.  You know there would be a little extra edge to the game with a CP3/Rondo match-up.

Rondo/Wade/LeBron/KG/Howard: the West all-stars could have a tough time scoring against that line-up.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

They won't, it's an all star game.

Figured Rose might have taken the lead with Rondo being out.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Both Rose and Rondo will make the team, so losing the vote does not mean Rajon gets to sit out.

It is isn't it? He has the #3 selling jersey in the NBA store now.
I think he was 15th? last season. His popularity is on the rise it seems outside New England. A lot of casual fans I know love him because he's so fun and does crazy stuff in nationally televised games.

Vote Rondo!  ;D
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Rondo is way better, rondo is the best pg in the league..no doubt. He is the best form of everything a pg should be..! In my mind anyway.....! That is also part of what i mean by not bothering with the allstar game...we already know he is the best....!

He's going to be there whether he plays or not AND he played for weeks on the same injury he's currently sitting out. People over-dramatize this "rest" that people take for the playoffs... teams have more contact in some practices than the All-Star game.

I want Rondo to make it because it represents his place as one of the best players in the league. When was the last time somebody got hurt in the all-star game?

Plus Rondo cares... he obviously wants to be voted as a starter over a player that everyone pits him against, even though he is clearly better than him.

I shold have put that i wasn't disputing your position....but, it isn't that he is going to get hurt IN the allstar game....he is ALREADY hurt going into it...... He didn't get ANY rest when he needed it, and he had....a pulled or strained HAMSTRING, which is BAD, that led to plaintar fasciutus (speeling), then the spained ankle, all on THE SAME LEG....which also means during that time he was over-exerting the other leg to cover it...THAT is my point. A few weeks on, a week off. That time off is very important for players like we have, older, and high minutes, hard coverage, above averge players who don't play 1/2 speed ever....!

You can probably thank the Chinese population for that. Millions of people voting for very few Chinese players in the NBA. I'm surprised Yi Jianlian isn't up there in votes...
