They won't even pass the ball to him when he's posting up Ben Wallace! Does Doc think Shaq is such a terrible post player that he can't even get his number called against a 6'9" Ben Wallace? I felt so bad for Shaq. He was running down, posting, and looking for a feed, but all those guys wanted to do was pass it around the perimeter and hoist up bad shots. Even if he is 38, Shaq can still score in the post if given the opportunity, especially when he's being single covered by a much smaller player.

Big Baby, and even Perk when healthy, get more touches on the block than what Shaq is getting right now.

Yeah I know.. it makes me mad too.  I don't get it.  He's probably one of, if not our best, post option yet he barely touches the ball.  He's also a good passer from the post, so why not go to him?

You're supposed to reward the big guys when they hustle down the court, and Shaq gets hardly any touches when he does hustle :(

I remember Baby playing pretty good defense on Shaq against Clev and Wallace is bigger than Baby and a much better defender.

You may be right about the need to go to him, but height is not a sufficient reason. Post position is more important since Shaq has no game away from the hoop.

Without Rondo, no one is getting passes where they are supposed to. It is hard to believe what a trainwreck this offense is without Rondo.

I actually don't think Shaq is really a good post player, at least not anymore. Obviously in his day he was the best in the game, but Shaq is much better when he gets the ball off a drive and pass in to the paint. As a poster previously noted, the offense is a train wreck without Rondo, and Shaq's game is taking the biggest hit. Rondo makes Shaq a better player. Well, Rondo makes every player on the team better. Can't wait to get him back.

Well said. TP. Rondo works amazingly well with our bigs.

Getting Rondo back is huge. It's a shame the Big Four won't be entirely back together though. Hope KG is okay.

At this point Shaq is most effective when someone drives and dumps it too him. I haven't seen him be too effective down low this season. But there were a few times where i was like ???
