His scoring and shooting percentage are both down, as are his assists and rebounds (those are down just slightly, though). It seemed like last year people were comparing his numbers to Jordan, Robertson and Lebron. It's too bad for he and his team. On a team with Tyreke Evans, Udrih, Cousins, Landry, Dalembert, Casspi, Garcia you would expect a much better record.

It appears he is injured, he may have surgery that will put him out for a few months, but also this, you can't ignore the mess the Kings are right now.  There are rumors he is going to try to get out of Sacramento.  He and Westphal have apparently been at odds with each other and that is apparently the case with not just him but a few of the players, including Cousins.  So all that has to be a major factor in what is happening this year.

He has been dinged up and teams are doing a much better job of defending him and keeping him from the rim.

Not buying the Cousins thing. He got kicked out of practice because he talked back to Westphal. You can have disagreements, but you never talk back to your coach or give him attitude. Cousins has talent, but is an entitled brat.

Buying what?  It is still an issue.  If you mean you don't like Cousins that's okay, though I must say I can't remember a rookie that came in the league with everyone more ready to hate.  And he has a rap for having a bad attitude, but from some and Calipari certainly doesn't say he has a bad attitude.  I think maturity is an issue for a lot of young players, not just him.

Anyways, I think he had an issue with how public the whole thing was made by Westphal, I have read and heard that is the issue a lot of the Sacramento players have with Westphal.  Not saying I agree but just delivering the information I have heard.
