I have to admit, Charlie V does look like a cancer patient

Really not funny if you have lost several family members to cancer

People get cancer and that's awful.

Charlie V looks like a cancer patient.

It is common to refer to a bad player in sports as "a cancer".

Charlie V got called "a cancer" because he's not that good a player, and it also happens that he looks like he has cancer.

These are facts that can't be changed at this time.

I never said it was funny, I just said that he does look like one.

It's just best to stay away from the comparison, because it's pretty emotionally charged.

For instance, I lost my grandmother to pancreatic cancer, and my dad is recovering from kidney cancer right now.  In neither case was either of them as vibrant or healthy looking as Charlie V.

Villanueva looks like a guy with no hair, that's about it.

(I don't want to give you a hard time, and I'm not offended.  It's just a silly comment when you think about it.  It make it sound like the only side effect of cancer / chemo is hair loss, which is unfortunately far from the truth.)

Doc sounds pretty convinced that it's not a knee injury and not too serious.

Yeah Doc saying he doesn't think he'll miss many games...doesn't sound too concerned.

sounds good to me

Me too.

Thank God.

He looks a lot better than Delonte.

I agree.
Whatever the fatal disease is where you get a neck tattoo that's what Delonte looks like he has.

no problem, I apologize and will avoid it from now on. I have lost a few relatives to cancer too, I think most people have, it wasn't meant to offend.

. . . or, "It's a bone spur".  That wasn't a lot of fun, either.  I'm digging the muscle thing.

Gee. "It's a muscle thing" and "It's a lower leg injury".  Now if the Celts will just tell us it was Colonel Mustard in the study with the lead pipe we might start to figure this thing out.

Can you imagine if the President got shot in the chest and the doctor was like "It's a shot to the chest. It's an organ thing"?

From hearing Doc and KG, I think it's pretty safe to say KG will be fine well before the playoffs.

It would be nice, but I will just be glad to have him back by march.
