I'm not yet convinced it's a bad ACL injury. Elite athletes who have had an ACL repair have a 5% rate of re-injury where they need another surgery. It could very well just be a ligament strain without a tear. It may not even be an ACL -- it could be another ligament like the ones that go down the edges of the knee. That would be consistent with the way his knee moved on the replay.  KG could probably play with a knee brace in that case

This coming from a Doc...I mean, a real Doctor.

Thanks for post, BFM

Weren't we down by 10 in the Pacers game about the same time? C's can still pull this out..

Except the Pistons want this game more than we do.

and boston didn't turn the ball over 20 plus times

Pictures clearly show it's a knee injury despite what the news has been.

The guy's knee was bent the wrong way. Looks to me like something tore.

I don't know how you can say that from the pictures. The pictures show absolutley nothing imo. The team has stressed that it's not an ankle or knee, which sounds good to me.

And why is everyone ragging on JO? He's actually better than most of these green jerseys tonight..
Jermaine hasn't been bad tonight but he hasn't had much of an impact either. At least not yet. There is still time.

He has been quiet. Too quiet. I'd like to see more out of him defensively.
I think that captures JO's night.  it's an improvement but it's not a noticeable contribution.  he's got to start asserting himself on the boards, especially when BBD is the PF

You were expecting him to come in and dominate? I mean come on he's picked up as many boards as Baby and Shaq combined. Give the guy a break. He's still getting there..

And what about what the team said two years ago?

the only thing it clearly shows is he reacted oddly when going up and was able to leave the court under this own power.  that's it.

anything else that's contrary to what Mike/Donny are reporting is nothing but subjective speculation.  period.

they never said two years ago that it was not a knee injury, they said it was a knee injury.

Doc should get tossed. This one is over. Zero effort from the beginning tonight and then the injury happened

Gee, Tommy is livid about something and it's not the KG injury. Let me take a guess, it has something to do with the refs?
