At least Miami is in a close game with the rockets tonight, so they might keep pace with us if we lose.

I'm not yet convinced it's a bad ACL injury. Elite athletes who have had an ACL repair have a 5% rate of re-injury where they need another surgery. It could very well just be a ligament strain without a tear. It may not even be an ACL -- it could be another ligament like the ones that go down the edges of the knee. That would be consistent with the way his knee moved on the replay.  KG could probably play with a knee brace in that case

And why is everyone ragging on JO? He's actually better than most of these green jerseys tonight..
Jermaine hasn't been bad tonight but he hasn't had much of an impact either. At least not yet. There is still time.

He has been quiet. Too quiet. I'd like to see more out of him defensively.
I think that captures JO's night.  it's an improvement but it's not a noticeable contribution.  he's got to start asserting himself on the boards, especially when BBD is the PF

The clock is becoming a problem now. Down 12 with under 6 to play.

Celtics taking too long to setup, Refs not on their side, and can't stop the Pistons. Recipe for a loss. This game is over.

No kg means no defense. No kg and rondo means horrendous offense

and no rebounds
The Celtic in me.

Weren't we down by 10 in the Pacers game about the same time? C's can still pull this out..

Except the Pistons want this game more than we do.

I'm sure some will start talking about a post New Year's slump but this has more to do with injuries. Look who we have on the floor right now.

Pictures clearly show it's a knee injury despite what the news has been.

The guy's knee was bent the wrong way. Looks to me like something tore.

Lakers thumping the Hornets. Up 20 midway through the third.
