12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal on 6-10 shooting, while playing great defense.

Most importantly, though, he almost single-handedly got the Celts offense moving again.  Things stagnated a bit under Nate, and Marquis took over and got the guys playing as a team again, rather than as five separate players.

Yep, Marquis gave us the lead back and made a couple of key plays down the stretch.

It's always nice to see him play that well, I find his post-game really beautiful, as smooth as Ray's 3 pointers.

I also liked the lineup with Marquis at the point, way more effective on both ends than with Nate.

Give Quis the game ball! LOL That man did his thang tonight. Nate was bad again tonight... Shaq wasn't gd either (fouled out again). JO, he needs more time. BBD, great 6th man! Go CELTS!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

He's about our 8th scoring option on most nights, so I don't expect a lot of double digit efforts.  Tonight, though, he was huge.

When Quis gets to play point (playing as a ball-handling 2-guard next to the likes of Nate and House doesn't count), his size advantage super-charges his all-around game.  It's what made him so successful in Dallas.

I wouldn't credit him for the ball-movement though.  Indy's inability to guard him one-on-one with their small guards completely collapsed their defense and that sparked the ball movement.

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I think why Nate is struggling, b/c our starters don't need a scoring pg... we need a play maker (let's hope RR is a picture of health in the playoffs). That is why Quis was so important tonight, yes he scored, but the other things he did were very important 4 this W... he played excellent D and he distributed the ball! It's hard to have PP play pg so much, when clearly it's not his game (he's gd at it but it's not his strength... you don't want him to have to do it entire games). Please let DW come back and remain healthy!

Marquis looked so confident tonight. He and BBD seem to have some plays together that work well too. I really like his understated persona and selflessness, yet, when he is in good position to make a bucket, he goes for it and usually makes it. He has been looking real good every game too, very consistently.

So, what you are saying is that Indy couldn't guard Marquis, which led to our improved ball movement. Isn't that the same as giving Marquis credit for the ball movement?  Without him, there was none, after all...Daniels did himself proud tonight!

Daniels should play the point and Von Wafer should get the bench minutes. Put nate's sorry behind on the bench. He is just a chucker who can't play the point.

Wait a minute! I never scored double digits in an any organized game in my career!!! Which goes as far as the Boeing Employees Basketball league back in the 80's and I wore my Larry Bird Jersey because my team was green. Man did I ever get shafted by the refs.

OK - this team has Marquis, BBD, and Nate Robinson coming off the bench. Anyone of this is capable of leading this team to victory on any given night. That and the improved health of KG, PP, and RA is going to assure this team will not go through a long stretch of mediocre basketball this season. I expect 60 wins this regular season (and 16 after Tax Day 2011 and before Independence Day 2011).
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I'm usually a big fan of Doc; however, one of the big flaws for Doc since Rondo when out is that he didn't immediately start letting Marquis run the offense with Nate playing the 2.

Glad to see that he's reassessing things.

I think the tough thing with playing Marquis full-time at PG is that we then have no backup for PP, outside of Wafer (blech).
