I love Kemp, I wish players would still be allowed to do the crap he did when he dunked on someone.

Like the one he did on Alton Lister? That was classic!

Garnett was a better player than McHale. I'd probably pick Garnett ahead of Duncan for today's league. More versatility, better face-up game.

1. Duncan
2. Garnett
3. Malone

Lots of good candidates for the 4th.

McHale - get overrated on this board and in general.

I always take these questions as: if I was starting a team and could draft one of these guys, who would I take? With foresight of their entire careers.

No one takes McHale in that situation - learning curve to start his career, relative short peak, decline with lots of missed games. I know he was also a defensive stalwart - but so is KG and frankly I think KG is better on D and more versatile. McHale did have a will to dominate on offense that Duncan possesses and that KG seems to not, but still if I'm starting a franchise at PF I pick Duncan or KG. No one else is in the equation.

I can oscillate on KG and Duncan, but I get swung on bias to KG.

For me it's KG at #1.

Duncan has 4 times as many titles and you'll see KG VS Duncan in this argument/debate all the time.

The above alone shows how great KG is as an NBA baller.

If KG had 4 titles and TD had 1 title the list would look like:

1.) KG

2.) McHale

3.) TD

Well, he was more than a dunker..not my fault that he and Gary Payton couldn't get by Jordan.

Don't forget that Seattle made it to the Finals, even though they lost to CHI. Kemp played well that series, as well as Gary Payton.

I can't judge the man as far as his personal life...we all fall short one way or the other.

I think that Technology doesn't do McHale or Kemp much justice - especially McHale. I can't find hardly ANY stuff on youtube about Kevin McHale - it's a shame.

Don't worry. I've seen McHale play, albeit on live TV. He was a terrific player. And about Kemp, I was just playing around regarding his ability to multiply.

I understand that people don't like the players that I have suggested or in my opinion, the best power forwards of all time. I guess I should have placed Kevin McHale top overall. As I've said though, this was my humble opinion.

I agree with your Maurice Lucas, Overall Defense (KG), and probably Rodman...it's a shame Dennis Rodman isn't in the Hall.
