If Duncan is listed as a PF, and is a PF in 2k11, then he's a PF in my mind. And if Duncan is a PF, with 4 titles, he is the best of all time. Where would the Spurs be without him?

Become Legendary.

First thing you have to do is separate the ones with rings from the ones without of course.   :D :-*

Overall----KG
Overall Offense---Karl Malone
Overall Defense---KG
Rebounding---Larry "Mr. Mean" Smith and Rodman
Tough Guy---Maurice Lucas
No D---Nowitzki
3 point shooter---Kevin McHale and Sheed
Low post player---Elvin Hayes and Elton Brand (pre-surgery)
One-on-one---Barkley
Underrated---David Lee and Jerry Lucas
Overrated---Tim Duncan because he was always the center for his team when Robinson retired.
Passing---Chris Webber
Dribbling---Chris Webber
All-stat and nothing else---Amare
Smallest yet effective---Elgin Baylor

Just my humble opinion.

Kevin McHale was a career 41/157 from downtown for a grand total of 26% shooting.  How do you equate him with being the greatest 3 point shooting PF of all time?

If anything, he should be on your list of great low post PFs, as he arguably was the greatest post up PF of all time.

You are so right. This was just my humble opinion. Thank you for pointing out my error.

Hey guys... Larry Bird

I know McHale makes it seem like Bird was a SF, and he did start there for parts of his career, but lets not forget McHale was only a regular starting PF for a handful of years in his prime, and was a sixth man of the year twice with Bird as the starting PF and Cedric Maxwell as the SF.

Yeah, huh? Who could forget this guy? Okay, I'll put him on my greatest dunker and dad. The rainman reigns supreme.

Well, he was more than a dunker..not my fault that he and Gary Payton couldn't get by Jordan.

Don't forget that Seattle made it to the Finals, even though they lost to CHI. Kemp played well that series, as well as Gary Payton.

I can't judge the man as far as his personal life...we all fall short one way or the other.

I think that Technology doesn't do McHale or Kemp much justice - especially McHale. I can't find hardly ANY stuff on youtube about Kevin McHale - it's a shame.

But Tim Duncan? Old-School (at least in my time), Traditional PF -

KG? Hard to argue his versatility...could cover almost anyone/any spot in his prime. Certainly top 3.

Did you really just say that Elton Brand was a better low post player than McHale?

Also - I had to modify from an earlier post in this thread - KG would not be as good defensively on some of the old-school centers, that's why I changed it from him guarding all five spots to guarding almost 5.

He did not have the girth to guard say Shaq in long stretches.

I love Kemp, I wish players would still be allowed to do the crap he did when he dunked on someone.

I have to take off my Green-Tinted glasses for a min on this one:

Hold On - before I get chased off the blog ;D - Pau Gasol deserves at least some discussion....I don't see him mentioned much in this thread.

I like the end the best.

Don't worry. I've seen McHale play, albeit on live TV. He was a terrific player. And about Kemp, I was just playing around regarding his ability to multiply.

I understand that people don't like the players that I have suggested or in my opinion, the best power forwards of all time. I guess I should have placed Kevin McHale top overall. As I've said though, this was my humble opinion.
