"We have two premier big men out there today. He is pushing, I'm pushing. Let us play,'' O'Neal said. "If I was fan, I would be p---ed. You pay all that money for good seats and you have two of the best guys in the country sitting on the bench. That's what happens when you have control freaks out there.''

O'Neal was referring to the officiating crew, and particularly veteran official Bob Delaney, who wears No. 26 on his back.

-- Shaquille O'Neal "I guess they (fans) come out to see No. 26 play. He was a great player out there today,'' O'Neal said. "They paid all that money to see No. 26 come play. My thing is, if you're going to call it, call it the same way every time. Don't pick and choose who you are going to call it against.''

Completely agree with Shaq on this. There were at least 2 fouls called on shaq that were complete flops by Howard. I know Howard is a beast down low , but there is no way Shaq should foul out in 12 mins of play, I dont care who he is guarding.

Also the play where Turk took out KG and it wasn't called a flagrant and instead doc is whistled for a T because he is checking on an injured player.

The refs were complete garbage today .

Only thing I disagree on is Shaq still considering himself one of the premiere players in the league.

Redz, would you go along with fan favorite and sometime still dominating?

well I guess Shaq will be suspended a game for the comments, and we will see JO start the next game. I agree with him however.

Doubtful Shaq is suspended. Probable he gets fined. I say 50k, Price's Right Rules Apply!

...and I disagree with Shaq not getting a lick in on that fat guy's kid in the front row as BBD has been known to do.   ;)

And don't forget Hedo's hack on PP as the captain drove in for a lay up. Not only was it a no call, but it also resulted in a Pierce T.

And, on top of that, in the early 4th quarter, I think, Baby got stripped of the ball by Dwight going up for a shot, and then the ball clearly went off Dwight's hands, but they gave it to Orlando.  From those 3 plays alone, we are talking about a 7 point swing.  Complete, and typical, NBA BS today.

Sure, I guess I can do that.  And I agree with Shaq that the fans are still paying to see marquee players play.  People still an to see Shaq out there.  He's just not an elite player any longer. No shame in that.
Yup

The refs were contemptibly laughable today. I hated the way that game got called.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Another thing the officials missed was Howard moving into the celts when setting picks, I saw more than 2 times where he clearly checked our players, Nate Robinson even took a shot at him. I was supprised nothing was called.
