If they play continue to play defense like they are against Orlando, they won't get to 60 wins.  Repeatedly, and easily, burned for transition dunks, mismatches and 3s.  Extremely soft post defense.

Dice and Duncan look too old, Dejuan Blair seems to have regressed, Bonner is still the all-offense, no-defense guy and Splitter looks about as NBA ready as Semih.

Well it looks like the Spurs are going to lose to the Magic tonight. I guess their winning-streak had to end at some point, though I'm still kinda worried that the Celtics may have some problems come Saturday. If you'll remember, two seasons ago the Celtics barely lost to the Lakers on Christmas after winning 19 games in a row beforehand.

Now, I'm not trying to live in the past, however I do think it is a little odd that the Celtics haven't been able to re-match the Lakers on Christmas Day since. Last season, LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal defeated the Lakers on Christmas with the Cavaliers and this year the Lakers are facing the second-seeded Miami Heat.

In previous seasons it was more about the Shaq-Kobe feud as the Miami Heat faced the Los Angeles Lakers the two seasons following Shaquille O'Neal's departure from LA.

Methinks that the Celtics-Lakers rivalry can be pretty expensive at times -- it's kinda rediculous when the league's two most successful teams can make it to the NBA Finals in the same season  ;D

Go Green! - but still a little worried seeing the Magic mesh so well tonight. Gil hitting shots. Turk racking up points. and Dwight being Dwight.

We better have a healthy andet ready Shaq for most of the game, b/c Semih and BBD will get "CONKED" on every possession. And Rondo will make or break us. Without his passing, we're looking at a game of fast breaks ran by Jack it Up N8 the Great
Can't stop, Rondo!

I hope we beat the magic on Saturday but I have a feeling we're too hampered by injuries right now to get it done.

Unless Rondo is feeling alright to play and JO returns with some kind of capability, we'll e struggling big time.

They played really well together tonight for the most part against a very talented, vet team.

They have to prove it for more then one game. Any team can get hot for one game.

Wow - Magic beat the Spurs convincingly.

Looks like Boston's backs are against the wall.

Just like last Christmas :).

If we put forth the same effort and grit like we have for last 14 games, we'll be fine.

To be fair, the current Orlando team can beat anyone on a night when shots are falling. They have a lot of high risk high reward offensive oriented players. They can win any night, but winning a seven game series would be tougher.

To Smith's credit, he got Turkoglu and Arenas when their value was at an all time low and they teams wanted to shed their contracts.

Orlando isnt built to win. They have a bunch of small guys and no length. Teams like the C's (When we have all of our bigs) will eat them alive.

Plus we actually play defense, tonights game, the Spurs played absolutely terrible.
