fun for me at least.  This one is based on how fun it was watching Avery Bradley play defense last night, could have been credited with 2 or 3 steals in 6 minutes.  And also on my desire for the Hornets to be a better team, for some reason their struggles depress me.

Trade ID #5781316

Celtics get Ariza, Jarrett Jack, Jason Smith, Quincy Pondexter and Sherron Collins

Jack can handle the offense and guard the oppsosing 2 while A.B. defends/destroys the PG.
Ariza upgrades MQ and can play a bit of 4.  Jason Smith and the return of Perk (and J.O.?) help make up for losing Baby and Erden.  D. West at PG also allows A.B. to guard opposing PG.

Bobcats get David West, Marquis Daniels, Wafer, Harangody, Boston and N.O's 2011 firsts.

Hornets get Gerald Wallace, Glen Davis, Tyrus Thomas, Nate Robinson and Erden

Paul, Bellinelli, G. Wallace, Glen Davis, Okafor  (Ty. Thomas off bench)
plenty of Shrek and Donkey, plenty of Big Easy natives Davis and Thomas on floor together.
Energy injection into N.O. and a better bigs picture.  Wallace definitely upgrades Ariza.

Well, I don't know if I'd pull the trigger on this fantasy....Ariza and perhaps later Pondexter make it very tempting.

Not sure losing Baby is such a "fun idea", especially when you're not bringing anything THAT good back.  Ariza hasn't been that impressive and we don't need Jack.
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Ariza publicly stated he hates the Celtics. He would never come here. Dont compare to Pierce LAKER LOVE growing up either. Ariza will never be a Celtic.

As for the trade pieces. Not so great. Only 2 players worth it for us are Ariza(won't play here) and Jack(better fit in a starting unit of stars. ie. Miami) and we lose half our bench for those 2? Silly trade.
Can't stop, Rondo!
