Wizards close to beating Miami on Josh Howard's return.

What an embarrassing loss if it happens. No Wall and no Gilbert.

first game I watched all season that wasn't the Celtics.  Started watching in the 4th because Miami was losing.  What a disappointment! Hinrich and Blatch lost this game. >:(

Did not see the ending just the box score was it really Washington who lost the game or refs helping the Heat from losing an embarrassing game. Considering its the Heat involved it could be either.

That was a really, really hard ending to watch.  Washington cleanly outplayed them for 46 minutes, and it seemed like as soon as they realized that they were going to win they flew apart.

They could use a real veteran leader.  They have some talent, but they have no maturity and they don't have a determined, coolheaded vet to calm them down when things start getting intense.

Blatche isn't a scrub.  What I saw tonight was a kid trying really hard to win, but he just has no idea how to do it right now.

There was lot more contact (and it was on the arm) on Heinrich's drive on the last play; then on Wade's drive where he basically jumped up and brushed a guy on his way down.  Of course Wade gets the call and Heinrich does not and Stern... I mean the Heat win.

There was lot more contact (and it was on the arm) on [Hinrich's] drive on the last play; then on Wade's drive where he basically jumped up and brushed a guy on his way down.  Of course Wade gets the call and Heinrich does not and Stern... I mean the Heat win.
It looked like a clear foul on the Wade play. The defender lowered his shoulder into Wade after Wade got by everyone else and looked like he would get an easy shot. The defender is not allowed to try to block the offensive player's progress by dipping his shoulder.

Hinrich was trying to force a shot with the defense back and waiting for him.

Nothing wrong with the way that was called. The reason Wade got a call is because he was fouled. The reason he was fouled was that he was too quick and skilled for the defense to stop him. Sadly, that isn't the case for Hinrich, especially since he was playing against a better defense.

[edit]
Also, I don't think Wade wasn't fouled on the way down. He was fouled before he jumped for his shot. When Wade was fouled, he jumped and faded away from the defender.
