I think this can be filed under "Silly/Rhetorical Questions" ... this feels more like a Championship team than even '07-'08 did. These guys find ways to win when half our bench is gone ... when everyone is healthy at playoff time, it won't even be a contest! Even the normally Celtic-hating Charles Barkley said last night that the Celtics are easily the best team in the NBA ... it's about time he got onboard! ;)
Yeah. Didnt catch that part but did hear him saying were playing really well and going to be tough out for anybody, I picture Kenny saying that but not him. Its like everytime on his recaps when we play and do good - it's never about us but what the other team is not doing.

He's  just giving credit because we earned that right, but probably can't stand Boston and is sad and bitter he never got a ring.  :-X
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

I was watching the Association and a couple of the players mentioned that this particular team has a certain energy and aura that was there when they won the whole thing.  Do you think we're witnessing another championship season?

Time will tell, but we're winning games with only half of the roster that we were expecting to have coming into the season. Our midseason acquisitions will be guys getting healthy. Like P2 said, we're gonna be scary good when we're healthy.

I think so, we have skill and talent to win it all.  I also think we have the luck too that good teams often have with the late buzzer in NYC being an example of good luck charm.

The quick answer is yes, it feels like a chip team.

So did 07-08 (26-3 thru december)
So did 08-09 (27-2 until L to lakers)
So did 09-10 (23-5 thru christmas)

1 outta 3 ain't bad I guess. We'll see how we handle the waters in Jan.

Rasheed Wallace launching threes and KG limping around on one leg last year didnt feel right to me.

Thank god those days are over.

Well amen to that. But, last season, pretty much everyone (me included) felt that the C's were champion material before christmas.

Everyone was right. Same with 08-09. We could easily be going for 4 in a row but for a couple of injuries.

Hells yeah! Game 4 against LA. Clean sweep!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Yes abosolutely.  This is by far the best/deepest team of the KG/PP/RA era.  We're winning games without having Shaq, Rondo, JON, Perkins, and West in the lineup.

If we're healthy, the title is simply ours to lose this year.  Even with an injury of two we're still going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Also for KG RA Shaq JON, this might be their very last chance for glory on the big stage with the impending lockout.  They are all well aware of this and will be focused, dedicated, and prepared for every game this season.  Not that any of those guys are slackers, but you know what I mean; they're going for it.

If not for KG's stupid knee, we could have been looking at four in a row next summer. Crazy. So, "yes".

It feels very natural this season more than the last few.  They just flow so well this year.  And I give alot of that credit to Pierce who does not seem to get into his iso's as much as he used to that would bog down the offense.

There is no team in this league that can beat this team over 7 games healthy (shaq, delonte, perk).  It is just not happening.

Definitely. The Heat have been coming on strong of late, but i still feel we can beat them in a 7 game series (as is with Orlando). The Lakers are our biggest stumbling block towards #18 and this early it looks like we can handle them in a seven game series as well.

I've felt this was a championship team since opening night against Miami.

But right now, hate to say it, but Miami is the best team in the league right now.

The Heat are blowing away virtually all their competition.

We may have the longer win streak, but the Heat are absolutely crushing opponents with each win.

Sure, they may be the best team at the moment, but that ends when Rondo and 1-2 of our centers make their way back into the lineup. If the Heat don't face any of the top teams in the league in the playoffs I'd say they have the title in the bag.

Heat are blowing away crap teams.  They have split with ORL name another good team they have beaten?   You will only be able to name one or two, BTW.  They have had a padded schedule to hype the Christmas game.  Should have been LA and Boston as more people would watch that than LeBum.

We have quite a few blowouts as well...

without Shaq and now without Rondo.
