Did anyone else cringe a little when Von Wafer came into the game? Also on another note, I was very impressed with Amare. He certainly should be in the talk for All- NBA and maybe even MVP.

Im not trying to be a wise guy but its a bit early to be crowning his ass, don't you think?...the NBA has played approx.25 out of 82regular season games.I hear this MVP talk on tv,read online.Amare has to finish the season first without injuries.Direk is playing at a high level also but he is actually playing some defense to go with his offense this season.Defense seems to be a foreign word to Amare.Im not as impressed with a player that is only offensive-minded.On weei today Danny said Von,Bradley and Quis all need to step up now while Rondo is out.

I thought Von Wafer played well on the defensive end in a game where nobody gave much effort on D. He's been doing it all season actually, and it's just a matter of time before his shot starts dropping.

With all these injuries, expect him to see some time in the next few weeks, unless Bradley can go in and contribute right away, but I doubt it.

Yeah. I guess cringe wasn't what i was looking for but shocked that Doc would put him in in a game that was that close.

That shot at the end of the game also tells you he's got some refining to do.  Everybody knows with less than half a second you can only do one thing Tip IT!  You can't hold there is no time.  The fact that Mike D'Antoni did not drill that into his players during that timeout is insane.  Or he did and Amare ignored him.

Also Mike D'Antoni will hold the Knicks back for his tenure.  His brand of basketball gets its butt kicked in the playoffs.  They will never win a thing with him as coach.
