It probably shouldn't bother me like it does, but I see people in these forums mention this guy and his 'Bron-bashing and how great it is.  This guy is a joke of a sportswriter, he's basically in love with Kobe Bryant and he's the biggest Celtic-hater on the national stage.

When the C's went on the run in the playoffs last year, most of his articles were about Kobe.  But when he did talk about the eastern conference, it was how teams were choking against the Celtics and "letting" the Celtics beat them with their defense.  Then you see an article like this, about how the Celtics "have" to respect the knicks, about how Amare "destroyed" the Celtics.. THE CELTICS JUST BEAT THE KNICKS WITHOUT THEIR MOST DANGEROUS WEAPON-- THEIR DEFENSE.  PAUL PIERCE DROPPED 32 AND 10, JUST A FEW POINTS LESS THAN AMARE, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, HIS TEAMMATES HAD MONSTER GAMES TOO.

Sorry, just have to vent, can't stand this guy, joke of a sportswriter.  I know I shouldn't read him, but I really like the rest of the Yahoo sports site!  Anyways, thanks for reading.

I personally like it when they do not gush over the Celtics until after the post season.

I like that chip on the shoulder.

I want to see more articles about the East is about Miami or Orlando or Chicago or even NJ.

I want to see the Celtics are too old.  I want to see the Celtics can't make it through the year.

Right now, everyone is in love with the New York Gimm(Kn)icks. Once they tank on the upcoming roadtrip, they will fall out of the limelight. Just read Bob Ryan's sickening column today.

I think they will not tank the regular season.  I think the can challenge Altanta for the best record of a team that will stink in the playoffs.

What I don't get is how the Knicks have all of a sudden "arrived".  The Celtics have lost to the Knicks before during the Big 3 era, and they've won close games during that same time.  It doesn't mean that the Knicks are in any way on the Celtics level.  It means that they played up to their level (or mostly likely the Celtics played down to theirs) for a few games.

The Knicks have the best team they've had in about 10 years, but that's only because they've been so bad the last 10 years.  They still haven't won many meaningful games, and still can't play defense to save their lives.

So, sorry if I don't buy that they've "arrived".

Anyone else rooting for the Knicks to drop a big number on the Heat Friday?
