Why does Paul need to act like that?

I loved the fact that Paul Pierce put the dagger into the Knicks, but I cringed at what he did afterward. Flying around like Mark Jackson and then bowing to the fans at center court? .4 seconds is not a lot of time left but I have seen it happen before. If Stoudemire's shot had been a split second sooner Pierce's actions would have looked even more foolish. Show some class.

I respect PP even more for what he did.

Hes clutch, hes a star, and he trampled all over the Knicks in their own house and ended their streak.

I hope he does it every time he hits a game winner.

Pierce hits a freaking clutch shot against their top player... and all you're focused on is how he celebrates after?  He's in the moment, he's filled with adrenaline, and he just hit a dagger against a player who was about to drop 40 on us.. he can celebrate however the hell he wants to.

Still, not a big deal to me since I never made the mistake of thinking Pierce had class and I am not one of those people who complains about the behavior of players on other teams either.

If Lebron were to do the same against us after hitting a game winner, I really wouldn't care. The loss is what hurts me, not the dancing around.

I fail to understand this whole "class" issue....didn't know celebrations required class...too many bow tie wearing, champagne sipping people here, I guess. We can't just let players be themselves even when they make a good play....we HAVE to montior and comment on every move they make...sorry, it just makes me angry..all this class/classless debates on this blog.

Let the guy be who he is ... this player has earned a little "Strut" in his day, and is probably one of the least overly-expressive guys in the league. Personally, I LOVE to see this kind of emotion from this team ... if anything, we need MORE of it! This is much ado about nothing, IMHO. (Stoudemire did the same kind of stuff on almost every basket or block he made!)

Pierce gets a pass in my book especially when you look at how Amare was prematurely celebrating(before the game was over).If you go back and ck it out Amare was laughing like a hyena after slamming a dunk.This is one time Paul gave them what they deserved.
