Fairly large blunder not to offer Scal the veterans min for the next 2 years. He could step in right now when we are depleted on the front line and make a contribution.

Instead we have Haragody and Von Wafer giving us nothing at the moment.

Yea it gives you a guy who can play the four who knows the plays and has experience playing with the starters.

We have 3 healthy big guys.

Wafer has been pretty solid for a 12th man.

If Scal were on the team, he'd be starting at center and we wouldn't know as much about the joy of Semih Erden.

Scal would have minimal use, just like how he doesn't get used in Chicago.

Sure, Harangody is useless, but that was expected. Wafer is still getting used to things, and we definitely needed another SF more than we needed another PF.

Right now is as bad as it gets for us with the bigs with 3 out, but we can expect things to be much better with the bigs come playoff time. We are much thinner as SF. If Wafer eventually figures out our system, he might actually contribute -- which would put him way past Scal. Scal would have been our 7th big (considering the 4 & 5 only).

Better off with slim chance that Harangody might one day contribute.

No way Scal starts at center over Erden.

He'd be more useful than Gody but not Wafer.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

There's a good reason why Scal averaged 1.5 PTs/0.9 RBs last year, 1.3 PTs/0.7 RBs this year, and has a 3.2 PTs/2.1 RBs career average ... he's over-matched for the NBA, and has been a fringe player for his entire career. He's just such a nice guy and so knowledgeable about the game, that no one wants to get rid of him. Sorry, but I'm glad Scal is not wearing green this year, though I think he's one heckuva guy. ;)

I know this must be a joke thread, but if not, here's a reminder as to why this guy is no longer on our team, other than his lack of ability to rebound for someone that is 6'9:

Scal has no upside whereas Haragody has some upside with being a rookie with a good BBIQ.

I will say though if debating the 15th man on the roster is all we have to worry about things are looking pretty good.

No it's not. We don't need Scal.

Scal's best assest has allways been in the practice facility and we only really have a few players who would benefit from that in Semi Erden, Hag and Bradley (i dont think Von Wafer would listen to Scal) and only one is getting meaningfull minutes at the very moment.

We all know why Scal is in Chicago and it isnt to be a factor on the court.

Im sorry to say but currently Scal has played his part out in Boston and we dont need him anymore with as many veterans as we have, hopefully Semi and Bradley is getting meaningfull direction from KG and company.

Wouldn't he have made more dinero than Haragody.   I like Scal too but the love he gets is way out of whack with his on and off court contributions and value as a player.
