I don't doubt that Baby will get offered the MLE.  I just hope Danny offers it and he accepts.

Which teams do you think will offer him the full MLE?  I'm just curious, because I personally can't think of any.  I still bet that Danny can re-sign Glen for about $4.5 next year.

Don't know, but I'm sure someone will, especially with the season he is having.  It only takes one team.  We'll see.

Oh those Human Beings that continue to show us how indispensable they are. Davis has become one of those. Even if he is having a mediocre nite he has a way of igniting a fire. The Celts are no longer a boring team. We now have some entertainers which will fill the seats faster than anything.

I'm more concered with filling the rafters.

Well, my Christmas wish is that the other 29 NBA teams undervalue Davis and the Celtics can sign him to a lower contract.  Then, Davis gets a huge endorsement deal that set him for life.

See, then everyone wins.

sigh.  wow.  I don't even like Davis as a BACKUP  PF let alone starting...  We won the NBA championship with BBD hardly playing at all, we can Definitely do it again!!!  Here's to hoping JO gets Healthy and that Sheed comes back.  Now those guys can play PF!  remember, the lakers have a guy named pau gasol at PF...  and also Lamar Odom whose not to bad either backing him up.  we need some twin tower action, and JO and sheed would be perfect alongside KG Perk and SHaq :)!

Great points.  He's a terrible defensive matchup against the Lakers frontline, unfortunately.

Big Baby won us a game in the finals. Just thought id remind you guys.

You can also say his limitations cost us several games in the Finals, as they were all pretty close. He had a nice stretch in game 5, but that is not a reason to over pay him.

Remember he gave up 2 FTs and a lay up before he hit his game winner against Orlando. The whole game matters, as does the whole sereis.

THANK YOU!  And TP for that.  I've said this about many players (even on other teams), including our own Ray Allen.  While it was nice Ray hit some game winners and he's "clutch", the team sometimes would not have been in that situation had Wade and others not lit him up on the other end.  Davis is the perfect example of this too.

It's a team game too, so its likely that Davis neither cost us nor won us a game in the finals.

No filled seats, no need for rafters. It's a business. To most of us it's just a game.

We'll still have Bird rights, correct?  If so we'll be fine.

I look forward to going up against the Lakers in the Finals to see how bad of match up he really is.
