What's your favorite adult cartoon?

 By adult I mean aimed at high school age or older so don't even bring that Spongebob stuff here, and no Saturday morning 1980s cartoons or you better believe Dungeons and Dragons and Kissyfur would be up here.

Also we're talking post 1988 so Betty Boop, the Flintstones and Jetsons don't qualify....also for our international crowd not including Nu Pagody is killing me but we're keeping this to North American cartoons.

Those are all different polls.

Also this is comedy so stuff like Saurai Jack, Batman, and Clone Wars also doesn't count.

The most difficult exclusion is Ren and Stimpy, but it's just not a qualifier. Stripperella was also a tough cut

I put Family guy only b/c I like their newer ones (generally), but I find myself re-watching the old Southparks more often

This is just me but I think both of Matt Groenings other cartoons (The Critic and Futurama) are  better to watch than the Simpsons

I rank em (in terms of enjoyability for me)  South Park (when they are ON), Futurama, the Critic, ATHF, Simpsons, with Family Guy at the bottom.

I put Southpark, but I don't really like the new ones as much. Family Guy's new stuff is funnier, but I think FG has more than plateaued also. (Although I liked the new star wars thing they did)

ATHF and Robot Chicken. Haven't watched them in awhile but those 2 are my top 2.

Not a cartoon, but has anyone seen "check it out" on adult swim? If you haven't, I highly recommend it.

I loved Home Movies....Dr Katz was totally underrated

I'm trying to think of the name of that new show about a bunch of teachers..it was in prime time

I love The Boondocks without a doubt my fav on this list.  Last season was hilarious.

But I wouldn't mind watching a Boondock Saints cartoon too would be cool

I gotta give the "best" to King of the Hill.  A lot of people knock it but I think it's genius.  It's funny without telling any jokes.

I watched King of the Hill at the beginning and in its last couple of seasons. Now, I almost never miss an episode at 10 and 10:30 each night and I am so excited that there are all of these episodes I have never seen. Each story is a lesson and the characters go together so well.

I don't know if anybody saw Mike Judge's new show, The Goode Family. It was basically the polar opposite of King of the Hill (Super liberal family). It was okay, but "Ubuntu (ironic, eh)" is nowhere near the character that Bobby is as a son and that was its demise.

To go along, I still think Beavis and Butthead is much funnier and more complex than anybody gives it credit for. I love Family Guy and American Dad, as well.
