What a drawn up play by Doc and pass by Rondo.

Great play drawn by Doc and perfect execution!! everybody on the Sixers team was expecting a jump shot by either Pierce or Allen and they really got caught sleeping down low with the switches!

what a game!!! phewwww, that was tough...

What a nice surprise.  Had a loss written all over it.  Very ballsy play by Doc, made all the more unpredictable by our typical Pierce iso.

Most entertaining game ive seen all season.

This team is incredible. Were missing half of our roster and we win vs an ultra-young, quick and athletic 76ers team on their home floor while we are playing on the second night of a back-to-back?

Amazing.

Andre Iguodala had a clutch play towards the end there however Kevin Garnett and the Celtics had one more trick play up their sleeves in order to come away victorious at the Wachovia Center.

The Boston Celtics are now a game away from a ten game winning-streak; all that would be needed is a win against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday Night. It's a shame to see Iguodala and Elton Brand lose a close one as they both had solid games tonight.

Always nice to see Ray Allen have a good shooting night. Perfect from the line, 7-10 field goals and 2-3 from the 3 point arc. Only 71 3's left (according to wikipedia) until Ray Allen surpasses Reggie Miller on the All-Time 3 point field goals made list.

I can't believe people thought that it would be boring to watch Ray Allen score a ton of 3's this season.

They're not all ultra quick, Brand moves like a dinosaur.

  • GOT IT!!!
Doc may very well be the best coach when it comes to drawing up a play late in games. 9 in a row!

All things considered -- second night of a back-to-back, no Shaq, only one active center (Semih), road game -- this was a quality win for Boston. Found a way to hang in there against a young, athletic team, Doc drew up a good play at the end, and it was well-executed. Nice work, fellas.

I was at the game.  While it was nice considering that they had only one center, they clearly didn't come out strong in the first half.  They didn't try on defense at all most of the first three quarters.  On one hand I get it.  They don't necessarily need their A-Game to beat the Sixers.  However, if they had come out early hard, they likely could've come out to an early lead and played the starters fewer minutes.

I guess it also must send mixed messages when they're expected to win this game, but winning this game isn't important enough to play Shaq (who could've played had the game been more important).

Still, they won, so I guess I can't be too upset.
