korver's game has regressed
He's gotten slower, and he wasn't that quick to begin with.

wow...he was horrible tonight

he used to be deadly from outside...now brick city
He's shooting 45% from three point distance.

Dont let up Celts, hammer these pretenders!

Pretenders? ok.

Starters will be back in shortly i assume.

Just for one more season still! Don't think they will contend for Conference Finals at the end of the day
I can't see Chicago beating Orlando or Boston in a playoff series but they might have a chance against Miami.

Ditto. I'm pretty sure that unless something major happens (like a big injury to either side), the east will be decided between the C's and Magic.

Great victory tonight. Loved the energy, especially KG vs Noah.

Im not scared of the magic, they would have swepped them last year if it wasnt for us letting off the gas/playing stupidly at the end of the series.

I don't agree, I think Miami are very much still in the mix.

I expect the Heat to be ahead of Orlando by the time the playoffs roll by (quality wise, not necessarily W-L wise) + be the biggest threat to the Celtics in the playoffs. More so than the Lakers.

I just think Chicago matchup poorly against Orlando and Boston but they matchup alright with the Heat. Well enough to give them a series.

Your giving a team with no inside presence at all, no legit point guard play, and a team that shoots the most jump shots in the nba (while at the same time being one of the worst jump shooting teams in the NBA) too much credit.

The heat are a flawed team, they wont be a contender until they get a legit frontcourt and a good point guard.

I'm not really afraid of any team this season. We are the best team in the league and should win the title.

They have two MVP candidate players, that covers for a multitude of sins.

How? They are 11-8, and cant beat any good teams. How exactly are their MVP players convering up for their flaws?

They are actually 12-8, only 3 and 1/2 behind Boston.

The Celtics played .500 ball over 2/3 of the NBA season last year, that clearly showed they weren't a contender right? Many times you have to look beyond their raw won/loss record when you look at teams.

They've lost a lot of close games to good teams, and have had chemistry issues as well as injuries. If/when they regain two of their best rotation players and work out their chemistry issues they'll be a serious hurdle.

Boston only beat the Heat by single digits each time they've played with LeBron/Wade clearly not playing to their combined potential, they're not going to be an easy out by any means.

Difference is I don't believe the heat are attempting to save themselves for playoffs. I don't buy the chemistry excuse either. But if that were to exist, wouldn't they have problems developing chemistry with the guys coming back?

Its great they have two mvp's but there are so many possessions each game and unless the nba adds two balls, I don't think both or all 3 can go off against a good defensive team like boston.

If we're healthy by the end of the season we'll roll em if we play them
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Watching for the first time, (the replay), and I love what I'm seeing from this team this year ... the unselfishness, KG looking as good as he has since he's come here, Rondo being the leader and facilitator on the floor, the renaissance that Shaq is having, Ray elevating and moving so well off the ball, Pierce in great shape and being solid in his quiet way, Big Baby huge off the bench, Marquis being more aggressive, and Nate a great energy source.

Yes, we've had our share of half-hearted moments this year, but I think those are just small kinks in the chemistry that will be worked out long before playoff time. And when Perk and Jermaine come back, (hopefully Delonte, though I doubt it this year), we're going to be very, very deep, very formidable defensively, and as powerful on offense as we've been since 1986. I am as confident about this team winning it all as I have been since then, too.
