If the Bucks are dumb enough to trade Bogut. Is there anyone that turns that down? Improved chemistry with Bron gone. And Illyasova is twenty three and a nice young player to play the three with Wade. He won't dominate the ball that's for sure.

Bogut, Bosh frontline very nice. And a good fit with Andrew's inside game, rebounding, and almost three blocks per game.

An upgrade at point guard and you have a really balanced team.

No way they trade LeBron or Wade. If either guy goes on to have success, and the Heat don't work, they'll always be the "guys who traded LeBron".

Bosh to me is far and away the most likely, but probably none of them. Offering the full MLE to Perkins in the offseason would be Miami's best bet, easily.

Hard to conceive of a scenario in which Perk leaves the Celtics for the MLE.

If they don't resign him? A lot of things can happen..we've got Jermaine and Shaq for the next 2 years. We've got to resign both Baby and Perkins..admittedly, I think it is pretty unlikely too, but if Perkins comes back not so great, and Baby takes his game to the next level this season, with Semih still developing, we're going to need help at the 4 more than a 3rd starting center. Pretty unlikely yes, but not beyond the realm of possibility, especially with whatever kookey CBA those kids at the league office turn out.

No team would ever trade LeBron unless he were on the verge of leaving in free agency again.

Even if the Celtics didn't want to pay Perk, I think they'd still give him MLE. He's worth more and if they weren't keeping him, Perk for MLE would be a strong trade chip

I agree.  His market value isn't going to go down if the team is losing.  That offer will still be on the table 2 years from now, guaranteed.  No way the Heat doesn't ride this out for a couple years before making any moves.  2 more MLE acquisitions and we're looking at what could possibly be the greatest team of all time.  You don't ruin that possibility.

MLE pg (steve blake type)
Wade
Bron
Bosh
MLE center (tough to find quality here actually)

Bench:
chalmers/arroyo
eddie house
mike miller
james jones
haslem

I hate it but I can't get over how good this team can become.  Jones is such a good fit for their team, I think they could afford to trade Miller (reasonably paid) for a big.
2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

I agree with this. I don't think theres any chance Perk gets away for the MLE, he's at minimum a valuable trade chip in a sign and trade or mid season.

Nope, he is unrestricted.  And I could absolutely see him going elsewhere for the MLE...although I think its unlikely since I expect teams with cap space to offer him more.  But I don't think it is a given that the C's would go over the MLE to sign him, and I also don't think its a given that Perkins would simply give the C's the right to match any contract.

And on the actual topic, Lebron and Wade are not going anywhere...and while Bosh is slightly (and I mean ever so slightly) more likely to be moved, they won't consider it for another year or two unless they are blown away by an offer.

Riley is not an idiot, he knows the talent is there, and they just need to learn how to play together, and get the remaining pieces that allows the team to fit better.  I really think once they can get a legit big man next to Bosh to do the dirty work, he is going to be an incredibly dangerous weapon for that team.

What on God's green earth would make anybody think Stern would let the messiah be traded to Milwaukee?

I think Wade could be moved, probably before Bosh. I don't think Wade's game will age well, and if this doesn't work in the next two years then I think they very well might move Wade. He's the oldest of the three and if it doesn't work its likely because LeBron and Wade haven't found a way to play to gather that fufills their potential as a unit.

Currently most of the best Heat lineups by +/- all have either LeBron or Wade, not both.

This would be like if we kept Ray and KG this summer, but let Pierce walk so we could sign Rudy Gay. Never happen.

If they don't win and he his game degrades I don't think Pat Riley would hesitate to trade him.

I don't think Wade is going to age all that well, certainly not as well as KG/Pierce/Ray. Too much of his game is reliant on his quickness and athleticism.
