Miami still lost against the spread.  The line was Wizards +11.5 and in that sense the wiz won.  ;D

Why are there more threads on CB about the Heat than the Celtics?

For the same reason that there are more news stories about Lindsay Lohan than there are about Meryl Streep.
HA! genius. TP

I honestly believe that their blowout win against the Magic was a fluke. They need some wins against credible teams to look serious.
Sure looks that way.

After the opening loss to the C's, the Heat needed to make a statement in their home opener, and Stan Van Panic helped by his defensive "strategy".

The 1-7 record vs winning teams (1-8 if you retroactively include the improved Pacers) speaks for itself.

They got the headline this morning on espn.com.

"Playing nice in Miami"

More focused on Lebron vs coach though.

Whew. I'm glad the Heat are dominant again.  If they keep playing like this (and/or play the Wizards every night)they should be able to finish out the season undefeated and beat the Bull's 72-10 season record.

I'm starting to dislike this team more and more by the day, a big reason for my newfound distaste for them are these ridiculous props they receive from the media after wins over bad teams. Soon enough, they'll be up there with the Lakers and Yankees for my most hated teams list.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

The media in the sporting world has always been strange to me.

Kevin Garnett hits the game-winner against the Knicks, the following morning, headlines around the sports world are "Whats wrong with the Celtics?" and "C's showing signs of age"

Kobe Bryant hits the game-winner against the bucks, who at that point werent even .500, headlines are "Kobe is God."

Heat beat one of the leagues worst teams in the Wizards, without Wall, a speedy point guard that would have had a field day against the heat, headlines are "Back on Track"

It makes me sick.

That is an AWESOME sig. Eeryone should give you a TP for that.
