Poor Eric. He never had a chance with those egos.  He criticizes the King for not being serious enough -- a legitimate criticism IMO -- and the players are shocked that he would have the hutzpa to criticize the King.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Think I'll go to work today and have a closed door team meeting about how I don't feel my boss is right for the job.  ::)

I am So glad this is happening. Cause the way I look at it is, The Heat are not in a good spot. They aren't doing well with spo at the head of things. Then if Pat comes down again then even more negative attention gets thrown their way. See for a teams like Boston and L.A. they seem to take the hate and everything and quietly go ahead and keep their mouths shut and prove everyone wrong. But the Heat talk this big game like everyone hates us and yadadadada. These guys were never really hated before and I think the don't know how to respond to that. Lebron was loved given everything. but he took such a backlash from everyone but Heat fans after the Decision that maybe he didn't know how to react. So I think if it leads to Pat the Rat coming down then hey more negative stuff thrown at the Heat and perhaps hurts them even worse.

haha...I read the thread title (before reading the thread) and thought to myself "Oh wow! A prison take-over! I wonder if it is like one of those crazy people prisons that Michael Myers was in.....oh. It's a joke."

I love that RealGM is using this picture for their "Heat players questioning coach"

He appears to be saying don't pound the ball for 22 seconds and then launch a fall away jumper and then blame me.

Hopefully Spoelstra has a family.....Because he's going to be sitting next to Riley this week or next telling the press he needs to "spend more time with them".

Riley will VanGundy Spoelstra soon.

You know what's going to be awesome?  Watching the Heat fail with Pat Riley at the helm.  It all comes down to LeBron - is there any coach that he's really going to listen to and respect?

Ship be sinkin!

I had the same thought (how awesome that will be) but, that thought has me believing that Riles sees the holes in the roster and for that reason won't be taking them over.
