Juwan Howard is the other option on the roster.  James Singleton is in China.  He would help them.
Singelton would be good. An upgrade over Howard.

It'd be nice to see him defensively alongside Wade and LeBron. Especially with someone like Dampier in the middle. A lot quickness, trapping and switching. Force some turnovers. Let Dampier be an anchor. Plug in Chalmers at the point or J.Jones on the wing.

A solid third string PF. Offers something different. Real athleticism and quickness. Help bring in a running game.

Very disappointed by Miami's lack of uptempo play given their star players.

Pretty much what I was thinking.  I'd love to have Singleton in Green (at VW's expense).  The Singleton/Dampier front would grab some serious rebounds, too.  Singleton's quickness would help compensate for Dampier's...

Why is he not in the league?

I am very surprised that Singleton isn't in the league. A good end of bench NBA level player. He would be useful on lots of different teams.

I presume his awful shooting display last season turned a lot of teams off him. 38.4% field goal percentage and a 45% true shooting percentage. Awful figures.

Anyway, I certainly consider him an NBA level player. Good defender and good rebounder. Someone should sign him.

Denver should have taken him over Shelden Williams...he's the sort of fellow they like having around (as is Shel).

I'm surprised his % is so low, though...especially with that little arc on the floor under the hoop to mark his shooting range.
