;D The offense has never looked so good and the c's have never ran so fast. Robinson pushes the ball on just about every posession... Start nate and let Rondo finish!  :P

I believe he is more effective off the bench. Our bench needs his scoring ability.
If Nate is not playing with the second unit, they have no long range threat.

The game before against the Raptors the C's got about 1.01 pointers per possession, that'd be bottom third of the league.

Lets not over react to one good offensive game, especially when they just played a poor one the night before.

Now you might say, but Nate had a good game against the Raptors. But if he's our starting PG the whole offense is his responsibility.

Oh and defensively most teams can and will take advantage of Nate Robinson if he's playing starter minutes. Mike Bibby isn't suited to do so, beyond a few set threes that Robinson can't contest well on kick outs.

He is the new Scali to the starters.

Sure, he is not as talented as the guy he replaced but the team is awesome when he starts.

Sarcastic or not, seeing how we can play if even for 1 game with Nate instead of Rondo should allow for reexamination of Rondo.  Rondo has a far better sense of where the game is going at any given time.  This is why he gets so many assists, rebounds, and steals.  This is a huge asset for a player.  Having a shooter on the court though opens things up in other ways for everyone else.  When Rondo is on the floor, double teams are instant.

It is still only one game and I am sure teams will adjust very quickly and take things away from Nate that he got last night.  I don't think Nate will usurp Rondo but I think this shows why all this Rondo-MVP talk is just silly, at least until Rondo develops a shot.

I got that from the smiley faces, but if he puts up another double digit assist total and people would actually say it seriously...

It is a really ridiculous argument.

I'm a huge Nate Rob guy but it really is a ridiculous arguement. He's better utilized in the second unit next to Delonte in my opinion. It frees him up for shots and he doesn't have to focus on the pg duties as much. When he's in his scoring zones is when he's most dangerous to the opposing team.

Paired with Delonte he can guard the one and not be taken too much advantage of on the defensive end. And on offense he can free wheel and run amok which crazy or not is when he's most effective. I do like the progression I'm seeing from him though. And I think confidence is a key for him. And after these last two games it has to be up.

I would like to see more intensity and effort on defense though. He's certainly getting better from his New York days but in my opinion there's no way he shouldn't be able to get around or over screens with all the quickness and speed he posseses. He should remember it's not a matter of blocking the shot but just challenging the shot and at least getting a hand in the shooters face. Too many times I see him closing out way too out of control for my liking. And not fighting through screens well enough.

This has been true for a while.  Nate is like Tony, he plays much better when he gets touches and minutes.  When they don't they are susceptible to some bad decision making.  Confidence men.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

what an absurd idea. Of all the dumb things i read on here...I'd argue the exact opposite. If anything you want Rondo starting and Nate finishing because of freethrows
