From today's press:

Quote
Rivers gave Robinson the nod over Delonte West “mainly because Delonte’s injured, with his back,’’ the coach said. “We’ve got to watch his minutes.’’

Delonte sat out 10 games in the beginning of the season. His back is still bad?!

I understand that herniated discs may persist, but if it's been 1 month, and he's still injured, I am starting to worry.

Anyone has more on this?

I had hoped it was because Nate is a better ballhandler. I'd rather not see Delonte handling the ball. I

His back seemed fine tonight when he was swatting the crap out of those shots.

Maybe he aggravated his back with those flying blocks.  Outstanding plays, but dangerous to fling yourself while swatting at a ball.

That stinks I was hoping like you mentioned his layoff would help with that and maybe it has and he's closer to 100%.  I hope this isn't a lingering issue throughout the season.  They need him and Nate to score big time for the 2nd unit.

Rename the thread Delonte's Wrist and avoid the double entendre.

I thought the title meant that Delonte is back on the inactive list.
