It's a good time to be an NBA fan.

They were both ridiculous Dunks, but my goodness how do you get that high after a spin?

Can you imagine if Lebron had gone to LA? Bledsoe, Gordon, James, Griffin, Kaman.

Crazy sick dunks... Crazy stat line... Still 1 and 13.
They shouldn't even worry about the record this year.  They're going nowhere anyway.  Play their kids to give them experience.  Secure a top 3 pick, and then, say a Kyrie Irving to go along with Blake would be an outstanding foundation going forward.

Only problem is Baron still has this year and two more after it with a basically untradeable contract.  Kyrie's gonna be a special PG though.

I've just called the police..I hope they put out an All Points Bulletin for this monster..er....man.... ;D

His name is Blake Griffin, and he wears #32.

Just Wow.

I have not seen dunks like that in a few years, and I've been around for a bit.

And this is his...first year?? He's what? 22?

Wow, some amazing dunks there...the first one was like a cross between Howard's Superman dunk and Tom Chambers' old stepladder dunk on Mark Jackson.  Second one is just sick.

Also entertaining - since the thread title was edited, it now looks like Guava wasn't satisfied with the original description and decided to punch it up a bit  :)
Yeah that first one was insane.  Unbelievable.  It looked like he took off from a trampoline.

Much like Chambers' dunk, Mozgov boosted him into the air by bringing his arms up a bit.  That's why he seems to stop elevating and then suddenly goes several inches higher.

Ok..that first one over Mozgev I believe was very similar to the same dunk that Dwight Howard did when he won the slam dunk competition a couple of years ago...with the "small"exception that BG does this in a Real Game.

I think Blake Griffin just put Tom Chambers to rest.

Those dunks brought back memories of Shawn Kemp.

I like the Chambers one better, but wow, in a few weeks the guy already has a highlight reel to put alongside the best dunkers of all time.  It's almost never that I jump off my couch while watching highlights because all the plays are good plays.  I woke my girlfriend up this morning jumping off the couch and yelling to myself.  Awesome stuff to watch.

Please stay healthy, Blake.  We all want 8 more years of Blake dunks at his current athletic level.  In 5 years I'd hate to be saying "nice dunk, but remember when he was even more of a  freak?"  Stay healthy please!

Faaaaawithly!

The thread should be locked for showing that XXX rated video. I thought this was a family friendly site :D.

All joking aside that kid is amazing!  If Vince Carter was half man half amazing....?  Then Blake is 100% amazing man!!!

  • Rondo = Good
rookie of the year... sorry john wall, this guy is a monster.

Aint gonna happen as long as the Clippers are the worst team in the league.  The Wizards are actually winning now and then.

Also, this game notwithstanding, generally speaking Blake Griffin doesn't do much in the box score aside from gets points and rebounds.  Wall fills it up with assists, steals, points, rebounds, and even blocks.  He also fills it up with turnovers, but that's somewhat forgiveable since he has the ball allll the time.

There's definitely a race, but I would be surprised if J-Wall doesn't get RoY.
