I don't agree. I think the energy of this year's team is totally different and we'll see a much more sustained effort during the regular season. Remember, we lost by 4 in LA game 7 last year. I'm sure the guys all believe they would have won that game on their home court. Ergo, they probably have a renewed hunger for HCA and thus more motivation to win regular season games.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

  • You say when......
Well, you have to learn from last year. Like it or not, the vets need rest. A team like this will not look good against a young and fast team. OKC scored at will. The best idea, is to run the younger guys vs these teams. You do have to forget winning our division....it would be nice, but prob not.

our 2nd unit is strong, but they need to play more. Let 'em run it. We wore out everyone with this same scheme last year, did you not learn anything...? Did you forget already..? Healthy, we can beat anyone in best of 7, but we have to be healthy. The playoffs are all that matters, the regular season is just there for you to use to get ready for it.

Home court is great, being under 30 is great too.

Another game we should have won. Clock problems, foul shooting, losing the ball in crunch time. I was genius not getting sucked into the League Pass. Would have been so aggravated. We're not coastin we're strollin.

So frustrating, especially when you know how good this team can be. Out of four losses, 3 of them were games we just gave away.

It's like they don't feel they have to earn a trip to the playoffs...which may be true, but still, love the game a little.

They're essentially the same team...we shouldn't be surprised.

This is very true.  In other sports that have fewer playoff teams, the regular season seems to matter more, especially late in the season when a number of teams are fighting to get in.  Of course, there are more teams throwing it at that point, too.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I didn't get to see the game and I'm disappointed in realizing we just lost 2 in a row. But I'm not ready to hit the panic button just yet. Just as easily was we could have been 7-6, we could have easily been 13-0. We've been very much in every game this year. After scratching my head and taking this all in for a few moments, a big thought keeps creeping up into the back of my head.....

"........We'll be fine."

How are these two games all that different than the multiple overtime games?

The only difference is that we didn't pull these out....

They may be frustrating, but I rather lose a game like the OKC one and go smack up Atlanta on Monday than vice versa.

looks like you got your wish.
