I think we're underestimating the impact that losing Rondo, (our floor general), and double-figure assists, is having on this team. That has a HUGE affect on how these Celtics run their game, and it will take major adjustments to overcome.

The motion offense breaks down without him.  No one else is confident/skilled enough to make the timely reads.

But the real culprit is the D.  Robinson/West are definitely downgrades from Raj defensively, but the biggest problem has been with the Shaq/Baby/Erden contingent.  Late rotations, bad fouls.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Erden, Davis and Daniels are all have a +/- of -19. West is -22.

Also, the sky is most definitely not falling. It's a long season and Sunday afternoon games in Toronto don't make or break a season.

Dick Bavetta is certainly in playoff form.

Better defense the last couple of trips, but we've got to keep attacking the basket, not threes, (unless Ray is open).

There's such a thing as too unselfish.  When what should be a layup off a fast break results in two three point shots and zero points, that is too unselfish.
