The ongoing debate regarding Miami's woes has been a pick-your-poison query: Is the lack of an inside defensive presence or the inability to control elite point guards the most glaring issue?

"I don't care," Rondo answered. "I can't relate."

I chuckled when I read this from a Jackie MacMullan column on ESPNBoston.com. Rondo knows he's on a team with no point-guard or big-man issues, and he's lovin' it.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

No big man issues ?! We've got big man issues galore... But we do actually have a front line.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I wish he had said, 'I don't know', instead of, 'I don't care'. I know this Heat team still has a ways to go, but I would really like to limit the ammo for later in the season. Pierce's statement was just right.

There was a bunch of quotes from his post-game.

"They are giving you all this space, not only are they not respecting your jump shot but there giving you all this space to see and create opportunities. Why are they guarding you like that?”

Quote from: Rajon Rondo
"I don’t know. I think that’s the best thing they should do, if they get up on me i’m definitely going to go past them

"Everybody says (The Heat) have a bullseye. You guys are kind of used to that. Can you get a sense of a little  frustration they’re going through trying to get their thing together?”
Quote from: Rajon Rondo
”No, can’t relate. [pause] As far as the bullseye yea but every team goes through ups and downs. It’s a long season and it’s still early for them. People may count them out now but you never know, you know, just keep fighting… we’ll be okay.

“There was a stretch tonight where like three or four (of your assists) were literally just hand offs, you just waited and waited and waited and then handed one off to Ray for a three, or handed it to Kevin for a dunk. Is that just patience or is that just kind of knowing when guys are ready? how does that come together?”

Quote from: Rajon Rondo
Patience, knowing what’s about to happen. Seeing the play before it happens… (Reporter: “is it…”) …It’s not easy"

Jackie kind of changed that second quote but he said it with that same emotion. I’m sure this team is getting mad about everyone speaking of lack of chemistry instead of giving us all the credit.

We have injury issues on our frontline. They don’t even have a frontline to have injuries.
