Barkley is just part of the Hype Machine, if you ask me. Whoever's the most hyped team, he seems to jump on their bandwagon.

Whatever.

As long as we take back from LA what belongs to us, that's all that matters.

And I see us doing just that this time around.

And then Barkley can have another reason to dislike Boston, on top of Mchale frustrating him when he played.

I have found "NBA TV" to be a welcome release, though. I love to see Rich Kamla, C-Webb and GP talk about the game. They appear to be not perfectly balanced, but awfully close, to me.

People are looking for something that isnt there.

Barkley is doing his job, he's there to have a strong opinon about something that sparks a reaction from the people watching and by looking at what people write here when he talks about the Celtics, it seems like he's doing a very good job.

As long as he's stating a opinon on TV, you cant take it for anything else but TV

No, he really does hate the Celtics.

No he really dosnt, unless you can give some kind of logical reason that makes sense then i dont buy the fact that he hates the Celtics.

Just because he says something good about LA, dosnt mean he hates the celtics.

I'll say it again, move along people.. there is nothing to see here but TV schnanigans

Who freaking cares anyways.  Why do hometown fans gets so annoyed and agitated when the national press does not say their team is the best.  Right now the Lakers are the best team in the NBA since they are the defending champs and the Celts are the best team in the Eastern Conference since they are defending Eastern Conference Champs.  It's mid November!Wake me up when its February until then its football football football all you power ranking freaks!  lol

I agree with the "who cares" crowd. We already know that Barkley isn't good at picking winners from his gambling debts.

Yup, besides, Barkley has always been a front runner when it comes to picking teams.  Kevin called him out on the Hawks early love....lol

I love him as analyst because he is funny and I like him as a person.  Now rating him on pure analyitcal skill he does very poorly.  He is usually wrong but he usually goes with whatever the talking heads of ESPN are saying ( usually wrong too).
