Miami's got these guys for 6 years, they're not gonna panic after 3 weeks.  Especially not with a 7-2 record (soon).

I'm officially taking credit for jinxing Miami, cause they were up 20 when I wrote that.

Now of course they'll be trading Bosh tomorrow for Varejao and Jawad Williams.  ;D
5-3, and hopefully if the C's can play tough 5-4!

  • It's all about the TEAM!
They were suppose to threaten the Bulls single season record and now they're barely on pace to win 50 games!

I'd be much more scared if Varejao was in Bosh's place. They don't need another scorer, they needed energy and rebounding.

But then again, if they do trade Bosh for Varejao, it would have made more sense for Wade to just join Cleveland.

I have to say this again, the man hit 3 threes!

He'd only made two threes his entire career before tonight. It was a strange game. Milsap was a beast.

I guess when you're on, you're on. Milsap is having a great season so far, hope he can keep that up and help keep Utah competitive in the west.

just watched his game on NBATV, craaazy comeback, NEVER saw that coming. Milsap hit those 3s in the last minute of the game! And they were wet, didn't even hit rim. Then they won in OT without Dwill and with Wade playing pretty well in OT. Elson accidentally made a ft when he tried to miss, but eddie missed a shot to tie. Great win by Utah. Milsap was in beastmode for most of the 2nd half.

The crazy thing, if Cleveland wins one more game, they'd have the same record as Miami.  I don't think it's gonna stay this way, but it does make ESPN look pretty foolish for having the 72 win machine for Miami before the season started.  I love it how they discreetly changed it to the Lakers, as if anybody that hasn't lost yet can be in the conversation of 72 wins.

Seems pretty clear that Spoelstra is in over his head.  They have no discernible offense other than the Walker-Pierce Special, called YTMT ("Your Turn, My Turn").

With their size deficiencies and lack of depth, their first unit needs to outscore people with the athleticism of their Prime 3.  But their combined offense is no better than any one of their individual team's were last year.  So far they're playing like a bunch of robotic, colored Lions, and they haven't yet figured out how to form Voltron.  I blame Spoelstra.

Absolutely correct - is Gruden available?

Defensively they've been good in stretches, but their D in the Jazz game in the 2nd half was horrible.

Spoel's got to be one of the luckiest guys to ever be made an NBA head coach, considering his resume...
