He was with the team all training camp, and preseason. KG, Rondo, Pierce, Ray, Shaq, J.O., Baby, Nate, and Perk have all said that they were really impressed with him.

The only person who doesn’t get along with him is Wafer… and that’s because Von sucks and he knows it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but both Delonte and Wafer are on non-guaranteed deals.  Makes for an easy solution to any potential problems, at least until all contracts become guaranteed.

I'm very ready for some Delonte.  I think we'll see a true indication of what the second unit's potential is.  I really think they'll dominate with Delonte out there.

We need Delonte no doubt. Robinson is not hitting shots so he's basically not helping the team. His point guard skills are clumsy at best. I don't care what his problems are off court.

Everyone is talking about Nate's offense. Its not even that which has been bothering me. His defense has been very ineffective. Last year Nate showed a great ability to pressure the ball. This year it seems that he is fouling alot more. The effort and the motor is there but the execution is a little off.

Delonte needs to come back to provide stability to that 2nd unit and just let Nate literally run around like a madman and make plays. It is when he is most effective by far.

To add to this, Nate is averaging 1.88 fouls in 12 minutes of play (2.6 in his last 5 in the same amount of time). This is more than Rondo is averaging for over 40 minutes of play and they play the same style of pressure defense.


Thr dropoff at the PG position has been huge so far.
