Wat the hell was rondo thinking!

He was wide open.  Not a man near him.

And Rondo showed us why he was left wide open.

He was thinking nobody's open.  I don't mind that shot.

Even so, he could have came in closer for a two

Why was KG not on Dirk?
I think they got switched due to some screens, not sure I didn't see the play.

KG got picked in the paint by Chandler.  BBD rolled off on Dirk.  It was a switch.

When KG came down the court on that possession, he was on Dirk.

Ah yes, just watched the replay. Good switch. Garnett couldn't have gotten out in time to stop the catch and shoot. Tangled up with Tyson.

Great effort spoiled by horrendous execution at the end. Outscored 7-0 in last two minutes. Awful. Rondo's shot was fine, but all fo the jump shots and then leaving Terry wide open for that three. UGH.

I can't blame Rondo for taking a three to try and win it when they don't have a guy within 5 feet. Tough game, but you won't win them all. Especially on the road when you can't get to the line to save your life....

  • Rondo = Good
What was that?

17.5 seconds left and the best shot we can find is Rondo wide open for a pull up jumper?

That, folks, is why Rondo is not an MVP.  Table all this silly talk of him ever winning that award, or even being a true franchise player.  You can't be a franchise player if the other team can legitimately give you a wide open, pull-up shot at the end of the game and feel confident in that decision.

How Chandler didn't have more fouls amazes me. Especially with how they tightened up in the second half.

I agree, but they were up 5 with less than two minutes left and they simply could not close the deal. They had all of the momentum, too.

So we lost and everyone played 40 minutes again. Great.

Oh, by the way, personal fouls were 21-12 (20-7 free throws). Pf.

Winable game that slipped through our fingers.  Oh well, time to move on to the next one.
